The salve smells seriously herbal and strong, which is *just* what I wanted it for, and a half-ounce is actually a whole lot--very generously packaged. AND she gave me a $5 gift certificate to another store, and put a whole little bottle of facial lotion in there--very kind WAHM, will definitely order again and soon.
ETA: I don't know if it's the emu oil in the balm/salve or what ingredient, but it definitely helps little cuts/scabs heal up super fast! Great product. |

Excellent. I have received all of my order on time. In one case, I selected that I will pick-up my order and did not pay postage but Melinda mailed my order to me because there would have been a delay in my pick-up time. My orders are securely packaged. There are often little "extras" in my order. I appreciate the samples and that has led to further purchases.
Product review:
Scented Skin Nourshing Lotion (sensuous, arabian spice, honey almond, somolia rose) - I have purchased a few other scents in the nourshing lotion line but gave those as gifts so I cannot comment on the actual scents. The ones I have listed have been very true to the scent descriptions as listed on the web site. The lotions are highly scented without being obnoxious. My absolute favorite scent is the arabian spice. It is pretty gender neutral. I was surprised by the honey almond. I have smelled this scent many times over but this particular blend of the honey/almond is perfect.
Easy Breathing Balm- This is much better than what you get from Vicks. It definitely has the minty aroma which eases congestion. The actual balm itself is much more pleasant than the goopy blue jar from the store. I believe this is because of the ingredients such as olive oil, sesame oil, sunflower oil, jojoba oil, mango butter and vitamin E. You can use this on children, too. This doesn't burn like some rubs intende to ease congestion. I bought the Easy Breathing Sticks to include in my children's teacher gifts because I think having the sticks on hand would be a good idea during cold season.
Facial Potion - I was sceptical about using oil on my face. I have combination skin. This oil is a great solution to that. My skin feels clean without feeling dry. A little goes a LONG way with this oil. I confess to using this oil in a way not intended per the instructions. I put a few drops in my bath. I have had dry, itchy skin since the winter weather has set in and using a few drops of this oil in my bath has seemed to be the best solution I've found so far.
Sore Muscle Lotion - You won't get the intensity of BenGay from this lotion. It is a gentler formula. The actual oil itself may be stronger than the lotion. The lotion provides for a nice relief of sore muscles without the uber strong smell. I may also get the oil blend in this formula to up the strength. I like the lotion because there are times I want a gentle formula. I can't use a strong, tingly formula right before bedtime because it seems to keep me awake whereas I can use this lotion.
Lip Balm - I do not know what scent of lip balm was included with my order as a sample, but I really like the formula. It is not waxy like chap stick. It is smooth without being over slick. |
