The color gradient patchwork skirt is just about my favorite article of clothing in my closet. When I want a conversation piece, I wear it. It is just stunning. Sometimes I take it out just to look at it. it is truly a work of art by Meagan. She made the skirt so it would fit me while I was pregnant and then for later on. And it does. It is made with beautiful squares of patchwork and then the underside is completely lined in a coordinating fabric. I highly recommend Meagan, a true artist. |

Meagan's sewing is indescribably perfect, and I mean really, really perfect in a world where that word can be overused. She is an extraordinary designer with one of the most amazing stashes of fabrics around, and a unique eye that knows how to put those fabrics together to the best effect imaginable. The Pixie Panties that I've put away for when Violet and Lily come out of nappies are just so adorable and beautifully designed. Our sheered sundresses from Meagan, designed to be worn for a few years - because Meagan thinks of use and functionality as well as beauty - are just about the prettiest, sweetest dresses ever in the history of the universe. Honestly, I can't get more than a few feet with Violet and Lily in these without people stopping us to compliment them and ask where we got them.

And now to the everyday skirts that just arrived a few weeks ago, well... Another of Meagan's ingenious designs. So twirly and comfy with their flat waistband in front and elastic in back - they just fall so prettily. The only thing I disagree with is the name, because there is nothing 'everyday' about them - they are ultra special like everything Meagan makes; they are unlike anything else out there, and made all the more extraordinary by the fabrics and trims Meagan uses.
