February 2009 Yarn for Shorties Swap - this was a trade where I sent yarn to Lisa for a pair of Large Shorties and the same amount for her to knit whatever she wanted in trade.

Lisa was great during the whole process. She honored my request for an elastic waist through she had never done one before and also did cargo pockets on one pair of shorties. She really went above the call on this trade. She was a little late getting the shorties in the mail because she and her family were very ill. To make up for it she gave me a second pair of shorties, which was totally unnecessary. She also included a crocheted dish cloth.

I wanted to get all three, as stocking stuffers for my three kids, so I emailed and asked her if there was any way that she could make me another duckie before Christmas. She agreed and must have made the duckie that same day, because all three little guys came in the mail lightening fast.

This is my first exposure to Lisa's crocheted toys, they are amazing! My kids loved them. My 6yo ds dubbed his a "pocket friend" and carries it around. They are sturdy too, my 2yo dd let her duckie take a swim in the dog's water dish only a few days after she got him, he washed and dried up just fine. |

Ok, well that Monkey dipe is about the cutest thing ever! FFF's are such a unique and frugal diaper. It has gotten one use by a friend's child (about 20 mos) who ran out of diapers when they were here. Worked great. No problems with the pinning or fit at all.

The diapers are wonderful! So easy to use, and I'm thrilled with the overnight soaker liner she sent as part of the package. My DS doesn't wet much overnight, but he does all morning long, and this soaker made it from morning, through breakfast, grocery shopping, and back home, and still the exterior of the dipe wasn't damp. I think my stash is complete, but FFFs will be a gift I give to CDing mamas for sure.

Prodeuct Review - I use Elimination Communication so I am not a big cloth dipe fanatic. I had been using Kooshies for daytime use. They were perfect in that they were easy on and easy off for potying but the applix quickly tweaked and within 12 months they were hard and faded and didn't fit Jonah anymore. As I shared my dilemma with my husband he was not at all sympathetic. When I showed him Lisa's FFF and how they fit FOREVER and have no aplix or snaps to break he was thrilled. My dh and I are so practical that FFF are the perfect dipe for us. Not to mention that they fit great and are so comfy for Jonah!!
