Product review: I love it all!! The knitter's balm is wonderful for feet (don't laugh.... I don't knit, so I tried an alternative use). The soap smells divine, the whole box smelled FANTASTIC when I opened it. I got Strawberry Rhubarb, Yuzu and Vanilla Sandalwood soaps and they're all yummy. Great lather, and I love the little exfoliating poppyseeds in the SR soaps. If I use the body balm before bed, I wake up with completely silky skin, still moisturized. The lemongrass lotion goes on smoothly and leaves a nice, fresh scent. The bath truffles are awesome, just the right thing to treat myself after a hard day. |

I love this stuff. It really is a fantastic product. I have used during my nightly knitting since it arrived. It goes on smooth (I love the little beads of shea that melt on contact!), and I am able to knit almost immediately after rubbing it on. I just finished up a wholesale yarn order, and between the washing of the yarn and dye gloves, they were in serious need of help. Anyway, the balm has kept them well. It's actually my first time trying a product like it, and I would like to order some whenever you open for orders for it.
Oh, and the scent is perfect, not overpowering, but enough to make me love it. |

Rachel is a genius. This stuff is amazing. I was using a squirt bottle, and this is far superior to that! Here is what I have LOVED about it:
-lasts way longer than squirt bottles! This lasted for over a month!
-babies like it better. DS2 would usually flinch when I squirted him, but this comes out drier and is not really cold or hot, so no flinching!
-no dripping messes. It stays where put! Makes changes out and about much easier.
-it smells soooo amazing!
-it is also a great quick hand washer, and I have been rubbing a teeny drop into my nylon covers after changes to prevent that pee funk.

My freaking MAILBOX smelled delicious when I opened it. There were a lot more samples in the pack than I expected, and every one of them is OMG good. I mean, I want to eat them. Specific product notes:
- Lemongrass-ginger-mint soap - will definitely be purchasing this. If I could dip my whole body in this scent I would.
- Yuzu soap - really original fruity scent, one I've never smelled before in a soap but would definitely use or give as a gift. It's not too strong, not too sweet, just perfect.
- White Chocolate Truffle soap - another super yummy scent! This is a name I'd never pick (sounds too sweet to me) but it smells so good, like chocolate except...better? If that's possible.
- Lavender bath crystals - my daughter stole these immediately and ran around the house sniffing the tube. She'll have a little bit in her bath tonight, I'm sure. I'm not a bath person so won't be purchasing these for myself, but they're the nicest bath salts I've smelled...they really smell like pure lavender straight from the garden, really nice and whiffy and herbal.
- Organic shea rich lotion in pink sugar. Okay, this stuff is god. I have such a hard time finding lotion that is the right mix of wax and oil. This one is perfect, and light and fluffy to boot. Not a hint of separation even though it sat in a hot mailbox all afternoon. It's not greasy but it's still super rich. Oof, I love it. The pink sugar scent is really warm and vanilla-y without being cloying, very nice. I'm probably going to buy this in the lemongrass-ginger-mint scent, though.
So yeah, this is a rave. I am SO impressed with these products. |

Rachel is so kind and helpful. She has *really* taken the time to educate me! Before I met here, I did not know the diff between detergent soaps, glycerin, shea, or the processes! She is just always there to answer questions, and she is quick to respond/get your item out.

Soaps;
First, all of the soaps have an amazingly thick supple smooth lather. Also, they LAST! They stay hard. It is weeks before I need another one. I also love that they are made using the cold process. This may mean I have to wait longer for her soaps, but this process sure does make long lasting soaps that are sensitive to the skin! Rachel can account for every ounce that goes into her soaps, and the ingredients she uses are natural and non-irritating.
Soaps;
-Peppermint seaweed-rhis is so refershing. It really wakes you up. The peppermint scent is smooth and mild, not artificial smelling at all, and the lather is thick. The color is lovely.
-Citrus spice-Really a hardy spicy scent. It reminds me of oranges adorned with cloves. Spicy and citrusy. Because of the spice, it is not as tart as the other citrus soaps.
-Lemongrass ginger mint-So unique. It is so special and so hard to describe. It just makes me smile. The lemon peels make a wonderfully gentle exfoliant. The mint gives the lemony scent a nice kick. It all combines to make such a nice fresh scent.
-Evergreen forest-This soap reminds me of Christmas, when the house is permeated with the lush scent of a fresh evergreens. The jojoba beads make a great exfoliant. I use this soap in the kitchen, where I really need some good exfoliation for those raw hamburger coated hands.
-Litsea-Sunny, happy, fresh, and clean smelling! This citrus scent is very tart. Truly a citrus lovers dream. The color is so pretty. Very suddle yet bright, in a natural way.
too.
-Yuzu-Gorgeous peachy mauve pink color. Very hard to describe this scent! Very feminine, but more mild than tuberose. Just lovely and classic.
-White chocolate truffle-Think chocolate and soap. This soap is so yummy. It smells like chocolate, but it also smells like fresh clean soap.
-Tuberose-Flower-y, very pungent. For the girly girl flower lovers out there.
-Oatmeal, milk, and honey-The oatmeal makes a soft exfoliant. The scent is yummy enough to eat. My preschooler loves this one. He kept smelling it, saying, "yummy!"
-Balsam-A manly musk, hints of evergreen. Not too manly for womanly use, however.
-WAHM samples in various flavors-When I first recieved my wahm samples, I said, "these are TOO big," very pleased, of course. They all came with a lovely sleeve with the SMA logo, Soap name, and purchase website.
Balms/moisturizers;
-Organic fair trade shea butter tin-this shea butter has the earthiest olive-oil-y type scent. I love it. Very thick and smooth. Super moisturizing. Stays put and lasts. I have eczema as does ds1, and this has been a great non-irritating long lasting moisturizer. Like a butter, it melts on with some rubbing, which makes applications easier.
-Coffee butter tin-melts on your skin! Love it. I have been using this on a very rough patch of skin on my hand, and it makes it look better and helps the dry cracking skin heal. I also placed it on one of ds1's eczema patches, and it really helped. Wonderful moisturizer. I also love how it melts on. We use thick oily moisturizers during the winter, but putting them on sometimes hurts because you have to rub alot before they spread and are pliable. This coffee butter just melts on with a gentle touch, so this time, my preschooler had no objections to an application. |

YUM is all I can say about the lip balm and body butter. wow, I want to eat the whole thing, or put some milk and sugar in it and drink it! I even got a sample of her "Bee Mine" Honey and almond soap, which was a real treat. It's a good sized bar too! I know my babies will love slathering up with it.

These lip balms are so great. Truly the best I have ever tried. Okay...so, first, the scent is tdf. It smells like high quality perfectly roasted expresso beans. And, the best part is that the smell is natural, not artificial, because it is the natural scent of the coffee butter. The feel is luxurious. It glides on, kinda melting on your lips, like butters do, but unlike pure butter, it is blended so well, it is firmer and will stay on. It is softer to wear than chapstick, but it firmer than just plain oils...perfectly balanced to go on easy yet stay on. It also has no after taste, which is a huge plus for me as most lip balms do. Another plus is that this scent is man-friendly! My hubby loves this stuff. He really appreciates having a lip balm that feels and smells so good, without the scent being 'girly.' And, the container is oval, so it is so pocket friendly. This lip balm is the best! Really! |

We ordered the soap sampler and both DH and I love it! So far we have used the Lavender Shea, and the Peppermint Seaweed daily and the soap is just lovely. It is scented nicely but it is not over poweringly so, and the soap is really moisturizing, perfect for this winter weather!
We will definitely be ordering more of the soap, now I just have to figure out which scents to order for my mom and sisters!
I have not had time to try the lavender tea bath yet (surprise) but it is relaxing just smelling it…..
My dd also loves the rubber ducky soap. It is perfect for her sensitive skin.

Rachel's soaps are luscious! They smell so wonderful, wet or dry. They are also so pretty! Actually, they smell and look so nice, I have left them all out on my kitchen shelf, LOL! The lather is so soft and silky, and the lavender buds in her lady lavender shea soap make the softest exfoliating scrub. The only downside is that you may never buy another bar of soap from your local natural foods market, LOL. They are just so *fresh* smelling compared to other natural soap bars!
I also ordered some much-needed lavender sachets, and they are so wonderfully and naturally pungent! They are also very well sewn/made.
