The auction was for a December slot and Shannyn emailed me to let me know she had started. She emailed me throughout the process (it was over the holidays) to keep me updated.

Product review:

The longies are great! They have a great drawstring- almost like a pair of sweatpants (I have never seen anything like it!) and are really cute!

Customer service:
I was in touch with Shannyn immediately about which yarns she had in stock that I really liked, and asked to purchase the additional 4oz, for which I was charged $9. I contacted Shannyn in September before travelling and asked about the yarn. I was told it had shipped some time before, but she promised to re-dye and resend, this time to my mother's home in NY. In October I received a PM that she hadn't yet shipped, and where did I want the yarn shipped to. I requested the original shipping address in Canada.

At this point I had a variety of issues with my family and my business, and I lost track of time. When I realized this past week that the yarn was MIA a second time, I got in touch with Shannyn again, and we have worked out an amicable solution.

Product review:
I never received the original product, but we have been able to work out a fair solution, so I'm happy with the purchase overall. I will buy from Shannyn again, although will be certain to request insurance and delivery confirmation when I do.

I contacted Shannyn because I needed a few last minute gifts for my kids and thought the rugged bags would be perfect for their treasures. Even though I contacted her a few weeks before the holiday, she was willing to make them up for me at the last minute. I gave her some general ideas and told her to run with them.

Product Review:
The bags are perfect. I told her that ds needed something to hold his cars in, and the bag was the perfect shape and size for his multitude of matchbox cars. Dd is harder to buy for as she really only likes pink and faireies and the bag was just that. She uses hers all the time for all of her dress up games. I love the bags and ended up placing another order with Shannyn for other gifts for the future. I would totally order again, and have already done so!

She was going to dye and crochet 2 hats for my dd.

Customer service:
Started out OK. I PM’ed her after 2 weeks and asked how they were coming. She said that since she was having surgery, she’d get them done (at least the dyeing) before then. I then waited 3 weeks after her surgery to PM her again. At this point, I PMed her many times asking her for updates, to which she responded almost immediately each time, however, each time she had an excuse as to why they were not complete. I felt like I was being pushed to the back burner. I received the items almost 3 months from the initial agreement, which is unacceptable. Shannyn did apologize for the whole thing, and included a bar of soap, however, the overall experience was not a positive one, as I had to keep asking over and over for an update, kept getting excuses, and it took so long.

Product review:
I was surprised at the lack of quality of the hats. Neither fits my dd well, and they aren’t even the same size as each other. There are several loose threads on one hat, and neither is symmetrical. I don’t feel like this was a fair trade.

UPDATE:
I notified Shannyn of my dissatisfaction with the hats as described above. Her response was that the hats were different patterns, and she "didn't notice any asymmetry or loose threads. With everything I stated or requested (including a solution that I would be happy with) she had nothing but excuses. I will not do business with her again.

Great customer service. I contacted Shannon to inquire about her famous all natural laundry detergent and she was quick to respond to my pms. She gave details on how much to use and the prices. When I decided that I wanted to purchase some, Shannon was more than willing to make some for me.

Product review:
I used the detergent on my dipes for the first time today and it worked very well. My dipes came out smelling fresh and clean. I was having stink issues but Shannyn's detergent got rid of the stinkies. Yay! No more stinkies!

Product Review:
Bags are very small in size and barely felted. Straps only attached by one strand of yarn. Do not feel the trade was an even trade.

Specific item: HC$ auction for 2 pair of waldorf longies and a felted bag

Customer service: Initially communication was great. Shannyn contacted me and found out what I wanted in the way of items and agreed to do a third pair of longies instead of a felted bag because we already had a dolly diaper bag. After a month of not hearing anything, I contacted her and she said she would let me know when I needed to pay for shipping. After another month had passed, I contacted her again on 21 Nov 2007 and she said "They'll be shipping out next week. hope that helps." And since then, I have not heard anything else. I know she had surgery in the middle of this, but I feel I have been more than patient and I am tired of waiting. I don't have the time nor the energy to continually hunt someone down for updates.

UPDATE 1/12- On December 10th, Shannyn PMed me saying thst she had PMed me her shipping address before (I checked back pages of my PMs and never found this PM). On the same day she sent this, my grandmother died. I wrote her back saying that I was getting ready to go out of town and I would send payment as soon as I could. I was away for 2 and a half weeks (this was at the same time as Christmas) and in that time, I recieved 4 PMs from Shannyn asking for payment. On Jan 3rd I recieved another one that was quite unprofessional, saying that I had "jumped the gun" on my feedback and that she had "done nothing wrong". I asked for her credit card paypal address and paid for shipping as soon as she wrote me back. She said she would ship them out the same day. I never heard another word from her and they finally arrived today, 1/12, and were shipped 1/9. I was supposed to recieve 3 pair of doll longies and hats (per her auction, I even went back and re-read to make sure I wasn't crazy) and I recieved 3 pair of longies, no hats.

UPDATE 1/12: I recieved the longies today (but no hats like were supposed to be included) and they are crocheted well, but the legs are not even in width or length on all of them. I also mentioned to Shannyn that I was allergic to Peace Fleece in our initial emails and 2 pairs of the longies are made from Peace Fleece, the other from acrylic. My hands are now swollen from coming in contact with the mohair in Peace Fleece. I am very disappointed- especially after the amount of time that had passed and the amount of unprofessional accusations.

Product review:
Yummy lip balms! These are hardly even samples, they are basically full sized tubes. She generously sent twice as many as agreed upon because she shipped later than she wanted to (although it was still plenty reasonable, especially considering the personal stuff she was dealing with!). I feel lucky to have traded with her.

Love this stuff. It cost less via quanity than commercial and has worked better. I have used it on everything from delicates to mama cloth to 'work' clothes/jeans. I will not be going back to store bought. Alicia actually commented 'Please don't be offened, but the clothes have been alot cleaner'. Of course I was not offened I am very happy they are cleaner.

AWSOME. I love the Camo Yarn and the way it's dyed up. I haven't gotten around to working it up just yet, but just by looking at it I know it's going to beautiful!!! She did a great job on the YYMD slot aswell, colors exactly as ordered. Her Laundry Detergent is AWSOME, my husbands dirty cloths (he's a mechanic, so you can imagine) and it gets them clean every time!!!! The WAHM samples are awsome, I have even used some of them on my own wool and LOVE them!!!! Thanks Shannyn, will be back to work with this mama again!!!

As usual, Shannyn was easy to work with, providing me with the measurements needed for her longies and answering any questions, either via email or PM, I had for her. She notified me when the yarn was ready and would be sent.

Product review:
Shannyn does a wonderful job dying yarn, and this was no exception! The colors are beautiful and the yarn is soft!

When I learned that I had won this item in a charity raffle, I told Shannyn she could wait and send it with the yarn she would send me for the longies/trade swap, so the delay in sending it was intentional. Shannyn is very easy to work with and prompt in responding to emails or PMs.

The color is even better in person, a beautiful peach tone and, as with her other yarns, beautifully done!

Good communication until I began questioning her about not receiving the item. Item has still not arrived, I requested a refund and I have not heard from her since.

On July 2, Shannyn posted a call for testers here, http://www.granolachicks.info/naturalparentingforum/viewtopic.php?t=6444. This is for pocket diaper inserts. I responded via pm and sent her pp on July 7th. I left on my trip to MO on July 22nd and forgot that I had ordered them. While I was in MO I received an email from Shannyn saying that she was behind on sending these because her Grandmother passed away. I told her it was ok since I was not at home. I returned from MO on Aug 18th and when I got my mail the testers were still not here. So I emailed her again and she was supposed to mail them on Tuesday (Aug 21st). On August 23rd (Thursday) I received notice from Paypal that a shipping label was created by Shannyn, so I assumed it would arrive the next week. When it still hadn't arrived on the 30th I checked the DC and it shows (and still does as of last check) that the package was never received by the post office.Shannyn says they were mailed the day after the shipping label was printed. On Sunday (Sept 9th) I requested a refund from Shannyn since by the time I returned from my trip and realized there was going to be an issue it was too late to file a PP claim. I have not heard back from Shannyn since. It was only $6 but it is still very frustrating to me. I ordered these from her because she was a member of a board I frequent and I like to work w/ the WAHM's I "know".

Updated -- Shannyn did refund my money, although her comments regarding the matter where uncalled for.

The shorties are awesome! The dye job is perfect (she came up with a special colorway for us that has a lot of meaning behind it) and the fit couldn't be better. They are so cute! I am very impressed by the wipes solution. It works great and smells so nice and clean.
