Product review: LOVE the yarn, beautiful girly colorway. The matching "2nd" yarn was also gorgeous and i think the dye spots that made it a 2nd just gave it a ton of character. The shawl made from it for my daughter is gorgeous!

When purchased:
Jul 15, 2007
Item:Luck O the Irish Set on Blackberry Ridge Wool Yarn
Customer service:Fast email notification of the sale and reasonable shipping times considering it was coming from Canada.
Product review: The photo made the green look deeper, mossy even. When it arrived I was quite surprised to see that it's bright, florescent green. When I talked to a friend about it she said that WWbN was sort of known for that, so I should have done some research.

On the plus side, I fell in love with the yarn itself. I can't say enough about the rugged, wearable, great nature of BBR and I seek it out regularly with other brands now.

I have other yarn from WWbN that I've bought from others and I love it. Just be sure that the color is what you think it is and don't be afraid to ask for more photos if you aren't sure. :)

Initially fine.

Product Review:
Pretty. Once worked up and washed each colorway with red ran like crazy and dyed other areas of the woolies.

I had to replace a pair of longies- because they bled so bad, the customer didn't want to use them. *I* paid for the replacement. I contacted Brad and he "couldn't find" my original order- but remembered it was large- offered to replace the yarn- originally said I had to cover shipping- but e-mailed for my address and shipped it without me paying the additional shipping costs. I finished working that replacement yarn up in November of 08 (took quite q bit of time to get the replacement yarn and I wanted to make DD longies to fit all winter, so I waited to finish them until it was cold). As soon as they got wet- the red began to bleed- once again, it dyed other areas of the longies, the orange washed out, the yellow looked dingy and gross and the silver is covered in red splotches. I attempted to contact Brad via the contact me button on their cart- it took 5 e-mails and a post in HC Chat to get any type of response. Brad asked for pictures- said it was rare this happened- even though, it's the second time it's happened to me, so I find that slightly difficult to believe. He then offered to redye me more yarn or refund me. I did choose a refund, because I have no shortage of wool here, DD is potty trained, so I have no use for more yarn for woolies- than I already have and honestly, I don't trust that it won't bleed. I expressed my concern to Brad and he responded saying he understood and asked for my paypal address- even though I included both in my e-mail stating I'd prefer a refund. I sent the paypal addresses and got no response. A few days later- I get a CC payment to my funded only account. I denied the payment- e-mailed Brad again, letting him know that Nada sent me a cc payment to my funded only account- gave him my cc paypal addy and asked that they cover fees- since it's not an actual refund, I have to pay fees. As it was- when it was stated "I believe it would've been around $40.00 shipped" and my response was "I paid $23.00 a skein, plus shipping" (forgot to add trim, as I paid for that too) but $40.00 is better than nothing at this point" - I assumed covering the fees wouldn't have been a big deal.

When and where purchased:
Co-op on another board. Order submitted 5/21/08, arrived to host 12/5/08

Specific item:
24oz yarn, plus a t-shirt
(10oz Monkey, 8oz Mint Chocolate Chip, 2oz trim, plus 4oz Campfire)

Customer Service:
Incredibly poor. At the time the order was placed, we were given an estimated 8 week turnaround. It took almost 7 months to receive our yarn, and only then after threatening legal action against him. He repeatedly told us the yarn would be mailing "soon", gave excuse after excuse on why it hadn't mailed yet, and after printing the first shipping label, took another 11 days before it was even taken to the post office.

At one point we were promised daily updates, yet even with frequent emails asking for updates it would be ages before he would reply, and even then he didn't always answer our questions. We were told a box would have half or more of the order, when it only contained 1/4 of the yarn. There was email after email asking for updates that went unanswered, and a serious lack of communication.

Product Review:
By the time the yarn arrived I was unable to use it for it's intended purpose, as my son was potty training by that point. The colors were quite different than I had expected based on the pictures on his HC and gallery, particularly with the Mint Chocolate Chip. The one skein I was able to use was nice to knit with, although the garment has not held its shape well with wear (BFL Big Blue, made into a ribbed hat).

Customer service:

Very good. Brad is very professional to correspond with. Our transaction was a little delayed by some serious computer problems on his end. He was clearly distressed that he had had this problem and got everything moving as soon as he was able. The knitter I was working with moved from one place to another while he was having issues, and there were no problems with him having to ship to a different address.

Product review:

Amazing. The colorway is exactly as I pictured it would be in my mind. He was able to make exactly what I was thinking, which is so phenomenal to me! I wanted WWBN because their colors are so bright and vibrant, and the yarn didn't disappoint. It's also incredibly soft. I would happily work with Brad and Nada again.

Specific item:
Undyed Montana Targhee & BFL
Dyed Little Miss Sunshine & Cupcake on Thick & Thin Merino
Cherry Blossom on BFL
Sprout Set on BFL
Honey Set on BFL
Monkey Set on BFL

Customer service:
Unfortunatly, the communication was poor and the shipping time was much longer than originally quoted. I was originally told approximately 2 weeks until it was ready, but it ended up being 8 until I recieved the shipping notice. I probably wouldn't have had a problem with that if I was kept informed through email, but I wasn't. After asking a couple times, I was told it would ship right after the Easter holiday because the po's were closed, but it still didn't ship until 1 1/2 weeks later. I wasn't kept informed about this at all, and kept checking my mail in anticipation daily for weeks.

When I had problems with some missing yarn & yarn I didn't feel matched the shirt correctly, Brad offered to replace it. Because of all the problems, they covered the shipping charges too, which was nice.

Product review:
I really love my shirts, and the cupcake & Little Miss Sunshine. I didn't think the Monkey yarn matched the shirt, so Brad replaced it. The red was way too cherry, but the shirt was an orangey red. I did use the original Monkey yarn that was replaced, and the red bled terribly. I ended up replacing the trim and trying to reset the dye, but it bled again anyway. Because of this, I offered this up as a second, and the customer was happy with it, so I guess I can't complain too much, but the original customer this was for was very unhappy with the delay. I haven't tried the second monkey yarn yet, and I must admit I am a little scared of it bleeding. I also didn't like the trim that was sent for the Cherry Blossom (and neither did my customer), but that was my own fault for not specifying the trim color. We didn't realize it had some brown in it, so I ended up not using the brown trim for the order. But then I ended up using that trim to replace the trim on the original monkey yarn that was bled on.
I also wish the honey set had come with brown trim like the gallery example instead of a yellowish trim, but again, I didn't specify, I just assumed it would be like the gallery example.

Customer service: We did drop the ball on this order, the customer is correct. We have since changed our processes to ensure this does not happen again. We have started a waiting list instead of taking orders through email and will not accept payment for any order until we can ensure timely delivery.

Product review (bleeding yarn): There has been a lot of talk lately as to different wool wash causing bleeding but since we weren't contacted by the customer about the bleeding, we have not been able to help determine if that was the cause or even offer a replacement.

We apologize for the inconveniences to the customer in this whole transaction.

Thank you,

Nada

Specific item: Renee Targhee Yarn w/matching trim & Pumpkin Set

Customer service: Brad emailed & asked me for my choice of trim color really quickly. Items were shipped pretty quickly too.

No issues, email communication was good and delivery time was as expected.

Product review: The yarn was very nice. I really loved the pumpkin set. The BBR merino was a wonderful yarn, and I think is now my new favorite. The Renee on Targhee was nice too, but the matching trim didn't match all that well. I had asked for a light or medium purple color, but got a darker blueberry color. It was fine though.

Product review:

I love my yarn! Some of it isn't mine and I don't want to give it up it's so great. The colorways are beautiful and he is a wonderful artist. I gave him some pics and just asked him to match the embroidery and didn't tell him exactly what to do... it is so goergous and matches so perfect! Product review:

I'm immensely pleased with all the yarn I received from Brad. It was a very large order that I kept adding to, and he was patient and kind throughout the entire order. He was not happy with how one skein turned out, and immediately contact me about a solution -- then redyed the yarn on an upgraded yarn, including a free 2oz skein of trim! The yarn is all lovely -- vibrant colors that do not bleed on my fingers when knitting or in the wash water when washing. I will definitely be back for more yarn from Nada and Brad.

When and where purchased:

We (Bubble Butt Boutique) has purchased yarn through Brad and Nada's HC and directly through email.

Specific item:

We've purchased loads of BFL, Targhee, and BBR Merino, all custom dyed to our specifications, as well as to yarn in their gallery, over a period of about 9 months.

Customer service:

Customer service has always been superior. Brad is nothing short of amazing. He has perfectly matched up yarn to fabric swatches, as well as put together amazing colorways for me.

His communication is fabulous, always letting me know where a larger order stands and when something ships.

Shipping is as fast as international shipping can be. We once had a package go MIA and Brad bent over backwards to track it down for us. He was prepared to start our order over again when the missing order showed up.

Product review:

The product is also amazing. The colors are always bold, vibrant, and true. The yarn is fantastic! Their BFL is my favorite. It is the softest BFL out there, yet is one of the strongest wools I've worked with. It holds its shape amazingly well and has great drape!

No matter how good I get at dyeing my own wool, I will never stop ordering from Brad and Nada.

I've purchased quite a bit of yarn from Nada and Brad over the past 6 months or so, both from hyena cart and also through emails.

Specific item:
lots of bfl and targhee both instock and custom dyed.

Customer service:
Excellent. Brad is very very quick to respond to emails and he always bends over backwards to make sure I get the colorway I want, even if its not something they have listed in their gallery. He can take my lacking descriptions and turn out EXACTLY what I had in mind, it is almost a miracle. I've been 100% pleased with every transaction.
Product review:
Beautiful and perfect in every way.

That purchase was my first purchase of BFL, and it hooked me into buying losts more. The colorway is gorgeous, expertly dyed.

When and where purchased: Bought on their hyenacart, last month and earlier this year too.

Specific item: Yarn, yarn, yarn! Blackberry Ridge merino and Targhee specifically. The Targhee was a custom colorway.

Customer service: Always a pleasure to work with! Good communication, shipping, etc..

Product review: Scrumpcilicious! Yummy soft yarns, bright vibrant dyes that don't run. We get many compliments from other people about these yarns. My custom colorway is great! The soaker I'm knitting with it is nearly done, I'm in love! It's going to match wonderfully with the outfit that was it's inspiration.

Purchased wool on multiple occasions from Hyenacart store.

Quick turn around on custom dyed wool and super fast shipping
I have always been super Happy with my transactions with Wooly Wonders by Nada

Specific item:

various skeins of yarn of different colorways and wool types. I have also sent in my own wool to be to be dyed.

Customer service:

Wonderful! Responds quickly to emails, ships promptly, and is very helpful.

Product review:

Every skein has been absolutely perfect! The colorways are gorgeous, the dyes have never run during washing or come off on my hands during knitting. I could not be happier with every yarn I have purchased/sent in to be dyed.
The only complaint is that they have gotten me addicted and I now spend way too much.
