Product review: I bought some Mexican Sipping Chocolat and Petite Bisou from Love Abounds on The WAHMbulance. Mmmm, both my husband and I devoured the chocolates! Product review: Excellent product! I ordered six of Krysta's Transition Trainers for my daughter. They definitely do the job! I also purchased a few of a different brand, and I have to say these perform fantastically! I like the fit better, LOVE the configuration of the snaps (makes it super easy to clean up a messy accident without having to make your child lay down), and they seem to hold up better to my daughter's accidents. Product review: So far, I have only been able to try one of the 4 lip balms, but I LOVE IT! The mint chocolate chip is wonderful. The one thing I really wasn't expecting was the slight 'burn' feeling you get when using medicated chapstick. It was always one of my favorite things about that kind of chapstick, so I love this lipbalm even more. And the watermelon soap smells so good! DH even said it smelled really good. He asked if they were real seeds in the soap, and was impressed when I told him they were bits of soap made to look like seeds. We are all very happy with this purchase and look forward to more orders in the future.

Product review: The diapers are very cute. I like the colors she picked for matching the prints. The elastic binding of the cover is gentle on my baby's skin. The inside of the AIO is nice and squishy. I like how the soaker is sewn in at both ends so that it doesn't shift around. I also like how the print is sewn to prevent wicking.

I like how the s-hooks make the diaper fit better at the waist and eliminate gaps there better than snaps do, and they are sturdier than velcro and don't stick to other items in the wash.

Product review: Only 2/3 of my order, 6 inserts, were acceptable. The other 3 were different sizes (one layer from another) and were cut unevenly. One of these three ended up curling, because it was not pre-washed properly, and this insert is not usable because of it.
The two off shaped ones are second-quality items at best. The third one can't be used.

Product review: For the past two weeks I have been using shampoo bars by another company and while they worked GREAT on my daughter and hubbys hair it left my hair super sticky and a tangled mess even after 3 washes and a vinegar rinse! So I took my friends advice and tried Marlenes shampoo bar. I used the pink sugar soap for the first time last night and WOW what a difference. I have no idea what makes these two shampoo bars different but I really like the pink sugar better. The Pink Sugar Goats Milk bar lathers, and after my vinegar rinse my hair was soft! Granted I did add a tiny bit of conditioner (maybe a pea size total) to my bangs (bc they are highlighted and dry and tend to knot up the most) and to my ends. My hair this morning isn't sticky or greasy or anything and my daughters hair was knot free as well.

Customer service:Of the 1000+ feedbacks I have left between here, etsy, ebay, diaperswappers, etc I have never once even had to consider leaving negative feedback. This sellers customer service is absoutely awful.

Jan 4th I bought 2 cuts of velour. There was a message on the sellers page saying that they were out of town and there would be a delay in shipping. I was fine with that. I wasn't in a huge hurry to get the velours.

On Jan 5th seller sent a invoice for the shipping charges. I paid this when saw it in my e-mail the morning of Jan 6th.

Jan 7th got a shipping notice saying it would be shipped the 8th. I figured it should be here by the 11th at the lastest.

When it wasn't here by the 12th and the DC# hadn't updated past "electronic info received" (yes, I know the post office isn't required to scan and update DC#'s -although I've never had a DC# not updated at least once along it's route)
I sent the seller an e-mail asking if it had in fact shipped. I had a mama lined up to sew the fabric into something for me. And while there is no rush to have the item made since my baby isn't due until July -we were just waiting on the fabric and I wanted to keep her updated. Never received a response.

The night of the 12th I read a whole 3 pages worth of almost all negative reviews about First Gear on diaperswappers. That made me very nervous so I sent another e-mail questioning the shipping date on the morning of the 13th. No response.

So on the night of the 13th I opened a paypal claim. Seller didn't respone to the claim or any of my e-mails so I went ahead and esclated to a dispute on the 14th.

Seller never responded to any e-mails or paypal claims/disputes. The package DC# did update on the 14th (the same day I esclated to a dispute so yes, it seems as though the seller didn't actually ship until I esclated to a claim!)
I received the fabric today Jan 19th. So, it took 2 weeks and 1 day (or 2 weeks even if you consider the post office did have one day off for MLK Jr b-day)

I do suppose this could have all been one big mix up at the post office (although I VERY HIGHLY doubt it). Or maybe the seller had a family issue and wasn't able to ship the fabrics. Or maybe she just forgot. I would have understood and happily left + feedback if the seller would have just took 5 seconds and reply to my e-mails.

On a side note- this store does already have several negative feedbacks that have seller has marked as being the fault of the pervious store owner. I didn't hesitate to order from this store since it seemed as thought the negatives were all due to the previous owner. Now, I truly have no idea if or when this stores ownership changed hands. BUT, this feedback is regarding the NEW store owner.
Product review: The cotton velours are just ok. The cuts are even which is nice. And the prices are cheap. But the fabric is on the thin side. I've previously bought nicer cotton velour from elsewhere.

Seller response: I cannot control the postal service, nor can I control the weather. I had several notices on my site about my delay home due to the weather. Packages are put out to the mail after labels are printed. I don't know what happened at the post office. I DO know that a couple of packages that went out at about the same time - including some that went via FedEx and not the USPS - got to their destinations later than usual. We had snow for a couple of days - which we very, very rarely have - and that practically shuts down the city. I don't know if the weather had anything to do with it or not either. As many people who have online retail stores will tell you, once it is out of my hands, there's not much I can do about your package.

I do not have any disputes in Paypal, so I fail to see how I would have magically sent the packages on the day a claim was made, if no claim was ever made.

As with most cotton/poly velours, the fabric fluffs up after it is washed and dried. I have never had a complaint about the quality of the fabric, and my cotton velour comes from the same vendor as several other HC stores.

I have no problem accepting fault for MY mistakes. I am human, I make them. The transition from the previous owner to me did NOT go as planned, and the customers who had issues during that time either received free shipping or some kind of discount, as a result of the issues. I did that out of MY pocket, and lost money in the process, even though most of those problems were NOT my fault.

I've got plenty of happy customers that order from me on a regular basis. I don't email every customer asking for feedback. Some of these customers have also experienced shipping delays. It's just part of what happens when sending things from state to state.

Buyer resolution: Yes, like I said, there was a delay notice when I ordered. And yes there was a 4 day period between my ordering and you printed the shipping lable and supposably shipped. I have no issues with that what so ever BUT I don't believe you actually shipped until the day I filed a paypal claim. As the dc# updated the next day and I promptly received the fabric 3 days later which is the typical priority mail time.

As I said, could be postal issues but again, I very highly doubt it as there have been sooo many posts about this store on various fourms stating they had the same problem previous to the snow storm.

Yes, I did open a paypal claim and then up it to a dispute. I am happy to send along the info to prove it. If you truly didn't receive any notice from paypal about the dipute I highly suggest you put in a phone call to paypal to find out why. I did close the dispute yesterday after I finally received the fabric.

I did wash the velours. No, they didn't fluff up to be as nice as other velours I have purchased. They aren't bad for the price though.

Also, like I said, my main issue is YOU refusing to respond to any of the 3 e-mails I sent you. I'm sure you also 'didn't get those...... I'm quite supprised you even took the time to respond to this.

To those thinking of ordering from this seller- search some mommy or craft fourms first for reviews on this store.

I do hope that your future customers receive better service than I have.

Product review: Absolutely amazing! I received my boysenberry minky fitted diaper and I just kept petting it because it was soooo yummy! I bought it to try it out for overnight use and it worked EVEN BETTER THAN EXPECTED! My son (who is a heavy wetter) wore it overnight for 12 straight hours and the outer wasn't even wet in the morning. I had to feel the inside to see that it was, in fact, soaking wet. AMAZING!!!! I couldn't believe it.

And did I mention the softness? :D

Product review: Great fitted. I can get about 2-3 hours in them with my super soaker. I can get a great fit. My son is currently cutting 2 year molars with the fun blowout type poop to go with it. With one of these diapers on nothing comes out the legs or goes up the back. I have washed and dried my two diapers three times each, so it is possible absorbancy may get better.
