Larger thumbnail options through direct upload

 I'd like for it to be possible to offer a "Free shipping after X amount spent"
A lot of big stores offer free shipping on orders of over $25, $40, or $100, and so on. I would like to be able to do that in my store. I think it would really boost sales. I would like for it to be something a buyer would not have to use a discount code for. Would this be possible?

Resubmitting: Ability to mark "Pending Buy Now Orders" to Shipped, Paid, etc.
Please provide the option to move items in the Pending section to the actual order history so they can be marked as "Paid, In-Progress, Shipped". I realize that buyers can move items from Pending by placing the order. Often, customers click BIN and then pay through other means - mostly through a direct invoice for a variety of reasons (combined shipping with other orders, adding on to a custom order, local pick-up, etc. etc) After the customer has paid, it's quite unprofessional to ask them to go to their HC purchases and jump through some hoops so that I can have an actual history of their order on HC. A simple click should be able to transfer that Pending order over to my Order History.

International Shipping
I would love to see an additional two sections under shipping (where we have Priority and Flat Rate) for International shipping. It would make life so much easier to be able to add the additional cost there instead of having to create it under a category for each listing. Need to Scroll Over on the Batch Edits
I cannot scroll horizontally on the batch edits so I am out of luck if it doesn't all fit on the screen.
I can't see everything when I am trying to edit categories, for example. They don't all fit on the screen but I cannot scroll over to still be able to access all of the options.
Can we add the scrolling please?

Add Date for Preview
I would like to be able to set a date for when the previews show up in my store. I like to schedule stocking my store sometimes weeks in advance and it would be helpful to set the date when the next stockings previews show up. I dont like having items previewed in my store if the stocking date is more than a week away.

I like to list all of my items with no end date but then once they sell I have to change the date to today's date. It would be nice if there was a box to click that would change it to today's date rather then have to input the year one number at a time and then the month and day.

Add vendor login link to congo page, add vendor page link to congo page
I just have a couple suggestions that I think would make life easier for those of us selling in congos. Is it possible to put a link on the top of the congo page to login to the congo? There is a login link on the upper left, but it only works for shopper login. I have a link on my desktop that takes me directly to my congo, but then I can't login to it unless I go to the Hyena Cart home page first.
Also, can you put a link on the congo page that will take me back to my vendor pages? I find it very frustrating that even though I am logged in, once I go to the congo page to view my listing I have just put up I cannot go back to my vendor pages without logging out and logging back in because there is no way to get back there once that page has been closed (which I do accidentally all the time! LOL!).

Option to delete cancelled orders?
I have gobs and gobs of duplicate, uncompleted, or redundant orders for various reasons (difficulty checking out, using the buy now option, etc) which I've had to mark as cancelled. In order for me to see the current real orders which are in various states (I need to see new, paid, and in-progress at one time to make sure I am on top of things)I have to show "All" statuses and "All" orders to get them on one page and not be leapfrogging through pages trying to remember what I've done. This of course gives me over 9000 orders at once which is pretty unnecessary, LOL! If I could delete forever the totally bogus and cancelled orders - or at least archive to somewhere that would help a lot. If there were a way to sort by In-Progress,and mark them as such en-mass ( see my other request :D ) that would help too. Right now once I mark them In-progress they are lost and can't be sorted to find them again except by sorting for ALL. Thank you, thank you, thank you once again oh Goddess of all things technical wizardry ;)

Invoice needs to be broken down
I have a bunch of options people select when checking out with yarn clubs. I need to see what the cost of each individual option was broken down so that I can create their upcoming bills as part of their payment plans. Its a HUGE pain right now. I have to go back and hunt down every listing and open it, then I have to scroll though each option and find the amount they would have paid, multiply it by their purchase quantity for their country, add it on the calculator, and create a bill :( PLEASE make this a priority... end my nightmare, LOL!

Could we get an "in process" choice added with New/Shipped/etc.?
I would love to see "in process" added to the drop down menu so when we work on custom orders, we can mark those orders as "in process" once we've started them. This would be great for customers, as they can watch progress, but also for us wahm's, so we know at a quick glance which custom orders we have indeed already begun when going through our order history.

customizing shipping by destination
Is there a way to customize shipping for additional items by destination? Adding a second item changes shipping costs dramatically for international locations. Right now, I have additional shipping charges for international buyers listed in Choices, on top of the additional item charge. But buyers don't always choose the right combination of shipping options, and if I have to send a new invoice, it's inconvenient and I incur another PayPal fee.
It would be ideal to have the cart calculate shipping by location and weight automatically.
Also, do Choices function differently now? It used to be that if the buyer chose the "additional item, international" choice, they would just get charged that cost once. Now they are charged that fee per item that they purchase.

Definable Thumbnail Image widths?
I love the definable image widths in the descriptions! I was wondering if it is possible to add the option of also having this for thumbnail images?? It looks so nice and professional when all the thumbnails are all the same size in our Congo... but right now it is a bit more work for members or guests to resize their images separately for the thumbnails (or I as a Congo admin do it for them). It would just be really nice if we could skip that step and trust the system to scale down everyone's images to the same width. We'll keep doing it manually if that's too much trouble... it would just be nice! :)

A better way to remind about leaving Feedback?
I was just wondering if maybe it would make leaving feedback even easier for customers to have a the notification for "awaiting feedback" appear on the main page when people are logged into their account rather than having to go into Purchases to find it? I didn't know how to leave feedback myself and someone from my Congo was kind enough to tell me how it was done. It just seems that if this is the preferred way to gauge a seller's reputation rather than letting customers see how many/what has been sold that maybe it could be made a bit easier for customers to remember to do it?? Add a Date and Time
Why is the Add a Date and Time box back? I have to set all of my items to View/Edit (Old) and there was a place to click by the dates to not be on that time wasting calendar pop up. I also have to click Every time I want to go back to my old items to make it All and not 10. And Also why does the congos name still pop into my Tags box. I have to get rid of it Every single time and it is there sometimes two and three times. PLEASE fix these things. Your changes are so time consuming for us.

Can we get a big "Spot" button?
maybe beside the add to cart or buy it now it would be great if there was a similar "spot" button or "Save to favorites". I think it is way too complicated for new comers to HC for them to even know what spotting is. Not to compare to Etsy again but in this case they make it very easy with their heart button to make a note of items you like.

Hidden Categories
I would like the ability to hide whole categories. I would like the ability to have a whole category with multiple listings that I can "hide" that will only be available for people I send a link to. I know this is available for individual listings but I would like to have it available for a whole category, so I can send one link that has multiple listings in it. Would be useful for group orders, co-op orders, and for when I don't want to open my shop up to the public but for a select few.

Option to view only those orders needing shipping.
On the "View Orders" page, I would love to have the option to view only the "paid" orders so I can ship them. After Black Friday, I had SO many "new" orders from the draws that I had a really hard time figuring out what actually needed shipping. Perhaps another option would be to actually "delete" orders that are never completed. Most of the draws were for discount codes so they were never checked out with...so they were listed as "new" and didn't require shipping. I hope that makes sense ;-)

View Orders Title length
As a vendor (in the view order screen) I've noticed that when I have more than a couple choices, the customer's choices get cut off on every record I have of the transaction, so I have to email them to get their other options/choices. Is there a way to lengthen the title/description on invoices so we can see all the choices?

Availability and Drop Down Menus
I know you just rearranged the wording for the options so it's easier for people to understand. Ex. "Cream... Add $0.00 (1 Available)" but now the options that have sold out don't say anything next to them so it looks like it's still available until you try to add it to your cart. Ex. "Cream... Add $0.00" Can we have "Sold Out" added to that once that option is no longer available?

More Options for Options :)
When adding options for an item it would be nice if we had an option for something OTHER than just the drop-down menu, or if people could select more than one thing from the drop down menu. For example, I sell fleece soakers. The drop down menu works well for the size, insert type, and style where they should only chose one thing, but I also have options for adding PUL, a pocket, ruffles, and elastic. I don't have room to put all of the options I have available and it looks really messy to have an additional four drop down menu's just saying "Yes (add $2.00)" and "No" If I put them all in the same drop down menu people can only select one of those options even though I can make them with ALL of those options.
I hope I'm making some sense here!

Option to Sort Spotted Items/Favorites

Would it be possible to opt out of the "Quantity in stock" on some items?
I realize that the "quantity in stock" is a vital part of the HC experience ... but I'm wondering if it may be possible to offer the option to disable this feature so that a product can remain "available" indefinitely. I don't want to list 999 (or other large number) as the quantity for fear it will appear as though no one wants my products. I'm sure it isn't possible/practical but I would love to not have to worry about the whole "number in stock" thing. Thanks for taking time to read my silly request :)

I have never fully understood why we cannot edit/delete listings we have listed already even when the payment has expired... I feel as though we should only have to pay if we plan to stock new items, but editing an item already listed, or taking the item down .... we should not have to pay extra money for that.

Orders show as paid
It would be nice if the paid orders showed as paid like they used to!! Its pretty time consuming to go in and match with paypal when you have a bunch of sales for the same amount on the same day.
Also, is there a way to batch print all orders at one time?? I currently go in to each order and print, it would save tons of time to be able to print all unshipped orders at the same time.

Add ability to remove item when sold
It would be great to have the option to have items removed when sold. Perhaps a checkbox when listing? Many times I don't put an end date on my items, but I'd still like them to move out of my shop into sold items when they have sold. Since I do not always add active listings every month, it irks me to have to pay $5 just to log in to edit my sold items. I know the items show up as "sold out" so there is no risk to the customer or my be having the items there, it just looks cluttered.
Note: I know there is now the batch edit where you can more easily do this before, which is great (as long as you have an actively paid store). Also, I read your response to the other suggestions for this for auctions/drawings and since everyone has their own needs, perhaps a checkbox would work so if you want it to do it, it will, otherwise would remain as is?

Improve quantity available display to buyers
The drop down lists for available options/quantities could be a little more user friendly. When I first started shopping on HC, it took me awhile to figure out what the Medium[1]...add $1.00 meant next to items in the drop down list. For the sake of new shoppers to the site, it might be better to make it a little more intuitive, for example Medium...add $1.00 (1 available)

Don't like Congo's name in my tags
Past, new, current fixed. Congos I can go to view/edit item (old)and have the old way come up which is much faster. Don't have the view/edit item (old) choice on my admin Healing Gems. And what's going on down in tags...the Congo's name keep's coming up even though I erased it over and over. I am Healing Gems and I don't want the congos name in my tags. Overall Discount / Coupon code improvements
I think it would be great if the discount codes can be applied to only certain items in the store - perhaps by categories or even individual listings. It would also be cool to apply certain codes for certain $ amounts - like 10% off for orders under $50, 15% off from $50-99, 20% off for $100+, etc. Also perhaps there could be codes that apply to specific shoppers/email addresses for things like return customers and family. Lastly if there could be a manually set time frame for the codes to be applicable that would be awesome.

Is there any way we can stop orders from coming through with no customer info? I get them often and there should at least be a email address that we can invoice. My listings are set as buy it now and it makes no difference at all. I even had one that had comments from the customer about how nice my stuff is but no info at all and she of course she did not pay.

Improve sold items description to seller
When I view my sold orders page, and drill down on the order, it is difficult for me to see exactly what the customer has ordered when there are multiple options selected per line item. (This is especially the case because I change the options available depending on the listing, they aren't always in the same order, and I always have to go back to the original listing to see how I had it offered. Even the sold item page doesn't show the options once it's been sold).
I would love to see the description of each option in addition to their selection. Also, the "x" for quantity is confusing for me because I always seem to think it is an XL...totally my fault, but maybe change it to qty?

Once I am in my store I can not make it go back to current items. I can go to past or future but it won't go back to current so I can replace them.
I also don't like that every time I put on a new item and say it is a necklace, when I go back to the future screen to put on another one it only shows me necklaces instead of all. I have to manually change that every time I do any change.

Is there a way so only 1 person can be logged into a single account? I think it's crazy for 50 people to be logged into a single persons account to stalk a item.

Automatically Remove Instructional Text From Field When Listing
Can you make it so the text automatically disappears when you start typing in the "Item Description", "shipping", and "Title" fields? It is a bit time consuming to first have to delete "Add item description here" or "Title" before I can start adding my own text. On the shipping, can you make it so that when you click the box under each field it will automatically remove "Not Offered" from the field?
Also, I am ecstatic that you added a drop-down calendar for individual stores. can you also add it for congos, as I have an individual store and am in 2 congos? Thanks so much!

Automatically remove sold out items after x days
I would love a way to automatically remove sold items after a few days, rather than manually having to go in and change the end date (when they originally had no end date). (Or perhaps I'm missing a current way to do this?) Ideally the number of days would be configurable, since some shop owners might like to leave sold items up so that people can see past work, however, I personally feel like they clutter up my shop, and would rather they be removed (or moved to a "recently sold" page so customers could still reference them). They shouldn't be deleted so that the links would still be available if used in the future or to research orders, etc.

Have the option of seeing more than 10 current listings at a time
I know things are still changing but I do not like the new change of how we view current listings. It'd be nice if it could have the option of "showing all" like how the daily calendar is rather then having to page through the listings.

Put a start & end time/date on discount codes
I would love to have the option of putting an expiry date on discount codes...and a start time for special sales (ie: Black Friday). As it is now, I have to manually set the code when I want it to start and make sure I remove it when the sale is over. Thanks!

Allow buyers to pay in CANADIAN or AMERCIAN currency.
I have many Canadian customers and I really wish I could give them the options of paying in Canadian funds. This should be an option that the sellers could add or choose not to have available. On Etsy you can select right away if you are shopping in Cdn funds or American. As it is now, when you go to pay from hyenacart, you can only pay in paypal with US funds. Please make Cdn funds an option....thank you!!

Add the ability to Archive a listing
I don't like deleting past/sold listings for fear there is a link somewhere that may break. Believe it or not I still get click throughs from posts that are 3+ years old. But having a huge amount of out dated items cluttering up my stocking page is irritating. It would be great to have the ability to archive them, and have them move to a separate page for management.

merchant services connection possible?
Would it be possible for sellers to have a connection to a merchant services account, like authorize.net so that customers can checkout using that system, rather than getting confused by paypal? (I've had at least one check out, but not pay because they didn't realize it was possible to use a credit card without having an account).

require e-mail at checkout for unregistered shoppers
To prevent "dud" orders with no contact information (because shoppers can check out without registration) it would be nice that at least a valid e-mail address be required for checkout. This way, we can contact shoppers who did not leave any contact info (or bother paying for that matter).

Right now this category has things like jewelry, bags, purses, ereader cases and scarves. Jewelry could be one category. Bags, purses and related items, wallets etc, could be one. Accessories could be its own. This could be scarves, socks, gloves etc

Please put Featured listings back on top
We pay a good and fair amount for premium advertising. At this point the money paid for this advertising is not nearly worth it. Most customers will not scroll down and view the whole page. I am not understanding why we should continue to purchase featured listings when we do not receive top billing on the first page. I am very disappointed with this change and would strongly suggest it be put back.

The ability to have different catergories in the Gallery
The gallery is a great way for me to set up fabric options- I just wish I could separate things into different categories- ie.: Solid Minky, Print Minky, Cotton Prints, etc.
Alternately, just increase the number of galleries each store can have and we can use a different gallery for each type.

It would be nice if you could specify when a code could expire or after X many uses. At the moment if I want a code to only apply once (or until a certain time) I have to keep an inventory in excel and hope I remember to go back and delete the code right after it's used, which can't always happen.

Lift limit of only 5 Info Pages per cart
I have an About Me, Coop Policy, Yarn Info, Licensee, and Policies Page. I NEED to add a FAQ page and a Caring for your Wool page. Its too much to put all this on one page and not overwhelm people. It would be impossible to navigate with it all crammed together.
Is there any reason to be limited to 5 info pages?

I see there is a "bath and body" section, but that doesn't really describe facial care products or makeup products. There is currently no section for these types of items, and people don't realize they are available. Would love to see a section for Beauty products with subcatagories, or at least more subcatagories added to the "bath and body" section.

Larger image size choices for the Java uploader
Larger image size choices for the Java uploader would be great. I like 490pixel width for the main image in my listings, but I have to go through Photobucket to do this. If you allowed larger images I would totally upgrade my account.

I would love to know how many people have visited my store each day. This way I can judge when advertising is effective, when certain items are more popular, or even what day of the week or hour I get the most traffic. The more information provided the more helpful. Even if it could say which items were viewed the most.

Premium Shop upgrade

BOGO Coupon Code
Anyone who has tried to run a BOGO (buy one get one) style sale on HC knows that this is an extremely painful, manual invoicing or refunding process. But, shoppers LOVE these kinds of sales! It would be nice to have a coupon code specific for this type of sale. The shop admin would enter the % off on the BOGO-style code and the system would automatically calculate the percentage off on the lower-price item for each higher-price item sold.

A small convenience, but a worthy one! I'm sure most of us have our vendor url bookmarked so we don't have to type it in every time we have work to do...we just click and there it is, right?

Add the option for the seller to hide the text at the bottom of the page that discloses how many shoppers are in the store. True, having many shoppers present might induce someone to buy a one-of-a-kind item before anyone else does, but showing few shoppers just makes the store appear poorly.

hide inventory quantities
Make it possible for the seller to hide or not disclose the number of any certain product that is available. Many of us are "small beans" businesses, but just because we only have 3 widgets currently instock, doesn't mean people need to know about it!
I don't think having a small inventory count induces people to buy (just in case they go OOS or don't reorder)...rather, I think it makes the product look poor, because perhaps it might not be worth stocking 50 of them, or perhaps they're not popular enough to do so. I figure the customer either wants it or they don't, whether I've got one or a hundred on my shelves.

A customer referral system
I started a referral program on my shop. As of now I have to manage a spreadsheet on my computer with the person's name, referral code and email and any referrals that come in. Then I have to go create the coupon code that is the referral code, set up the 5% off for anyone using it. Then I have to pay close attention to every order to make sure I don't miss a referral, and cross check that it is actually a NEW customer. Something automated we could opt to use would be awesome!

Multiple Coupon Codes
Because I run a diaper service/retail store along side of my handmade items, there are times when 2 coupon codes would be nice. For example, say I am running a 15% off store wide sale, you would need to have a coupon code for the 15% off. But my local customers do not pay shipping, so I would need a code for free shipping, but as it is, only 1 can be used.

Raise the cart fee to filter out lower quality stores
Please find a nicer way to phrase my request, but I would like to see a slightly higher fee to weed out some of the riff-raff. $5 is nothing and it makes it way too easy for someone to list a cart full of low-quality stuff, or for the fly-by-night scammers to start, stop and re-start under a different name. It's time to bring quality back to HC.

Spotted items
On the left hand side there are always the most spotted items up for weeks at a time that are sold out, I would love to see if it is sold out then the next thing that was spotted and not sold yet be in the spot.

Improve Search Functionality
Searching on HC needs a major overhaul. It is currently not user friendly and in many cases not useable at all, and this is pretty critical for a shopping site. Some suggestions:
- Keystroke suggestions as you type
- Improved "look" of the results page: ability to see more results (maybe horizontal rows instead of one long vertical row), less text on the top of the page (make the options graphical), show links to related searches, lose the categories on the sidebar and use the entire page for search results and search options.

right now when you copy a listing it copies it and then randomly puts it in anywhere it wants within your listings. It'd be handy if it could copy a listing and either mark it as a copied listing (for the sellers eyes) or just automatically put it at the top or bottom of your listings.
