Ella Bella Bum's, Day Time, Trifold Pocket Diaper Inserts are made of 1 layer of super absorbent, extremely soft, and trim Zorb II. When trifolded, that's 3 very thirsty layers. A booster is recommended for heavy wetters or for overnight use.
Insert Zorb II is so incredible that it absorbs moisture up to 20 times faster and absorbs more than other bamboo, hemp, or cotton fabrics! From personal experience, I venture to say that 3 layers of Zorb II is as absorbent, but much trimmer than approximately 7 layers of microfiber, hemp, bamboo, or cotton. The 4 layers found in the Over Night Inserts are approximately equivalent to 9 layers of the above mentioned.
Insert do not come prepped and will shrink down to their proper size over the first 4 washes. You may begin using your insert once it's been washed and dried on hot 4-5 times. As with all bamboo fabrics, please allow up to 8-10 washes until the insert reaches maximum absorbency.
