Product Info and Washing InstructionsFleece Products:
Fleece Soakers are soft, pull-on diaper covers that allow your babies skin to breathe. Fleece is water-repellent and easy to care for as it does not need to be hand-washed and lanolized like wool soakers do.
They contain no waterproof PUL, and no elastic, and can used to cover fitted, prefold or flat diapers. Fleece products are not strictly waterproof, but the fleece is water resistant, so it is important to make sure that the nappy underneath is pretty absorbent, as you may experience some soaking through the fleece if the nappy underneath is sodden wet.
Fleece soakers can be an excellent choice for night-time use! Optional sewn in sling style layer or a soaker under longies or shorties makes them especially effective.
Wool Products:
Wool is a beautiful, natural alternative to synthetic waterproof diapering materials. It absorbs quite a bit of moisture before ever feeling wet, making it ideal for use in diapering.
Most of our wool is from the Covered Caboose, which means it will be soft, high quality and certifiied lead free. It is washed and felted before sewing.
Sizing:
For the best fit, you need to measure over the top of your childs diaper. To measure the rise you need to measure from the back, up between the legs, up to the belly button.
Wash Instructions:
Wash your wool diapering items separately using a wool wash on the gentle cycle. Lay flat to dry. Do not wash using regular detergents as they can strip the natural lanolin from wool. Wool should not be used in making an all in one, as the absorbent diaper layers require different washing care than the wool.
Fleece should be washed with regular clothing, not diapers. Machine wash warm, tumble dry.
