Crochet Funtime: Quality Handmade Items

I'm a stay at home mom with three beautiful babies. I love crafting and hope to share the fruits of my creativity with you. I live with my son, daughter and wonderful husband in the White Mountains of Arizona. I've been designing and making crochet housewares, toys and apparel for 20 years.

I started making crochet woolies for my son Dylan when we began cloth diapering him in the spring of 2007. I've since expanded from wool soakers and baby items to wool and cotton playfood, household items and even diapers!

One of my main interests is creating products that are eco-friendly, green, reusable and long-lasting. The addition of my handmade washcloths/dishcloths to my product line is another step I've taken toward making it easy to for environmentally minded consumers to give up disposable products and move toward a greener solution.

Dillybums Diapers are another example of my commitment to providing alternatives to landfill-clogging products. We made the switch to cloth with our second child and have cloth diapered our third since his birth. Not only are cloth diapers a more eco-friendly alternative, they are also much cuter and more economically friendly too!

My commitment to buy handmade, homemade products has led me to an appreciation for handmade soaps. So I created the Crochet Funtime Soap Saver, a handmade cotton pouch that protects and preserves your soap from eroding away in the shower. The Soap Saver also acts as a gentle exfoliating washcloth and is machine washable and dryer safe.

With the tenuous economic situation the United States is currently in, I'm finding it more and more important to make the things we do buy last a long time. All of my products are made with care and are intended to be used for years.
