Buying Cloth Diaper Products from DiaperExchange.com

We want you to thoroughly enjoy your shopping experience! Here are a few guidelines and policies for buying from the Cloth Diaper Exchange.

Payment
All prices are in U.S. dollars. With the exception of Canada, no international orders are accepted at this time.

Our e-store is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a week! However, being a family business, we take weekends and evenings off. We'll almost always answer your email within 2 business days (Monday - Friday).

We accept Pay Pal for credit card or e-check payments. Items purchased with an e-check will not be shipped until the balance has cleared. Your credit card statement will read "Mommerce" for items purchased through Pay Pal.

We also accept money orders. Products will be held for 10 days from the time of purchase. If your money order is not received in 10 days, items will be "re-shelved" and up for grabs.

Store credit (earned by sending us your new or gently used cloth diaper products) can also be used to purchase from our exchange. Scroll Down for more info about earning store credit.

Our shopping cart is set to automatically send you a confirmation of your order. Don't panic if this doesn't happen.. some spam blockers will not allow emails from our system to reach you. If you paid with Pay Pal, you will get a confirmation from Pay Pal and you can rest assured that we received your order! If you paid with money order, I will contact you when your money order arrives safely.

Shipping
We will ship to the United States and Canada only. Sorry, no International orders at this time.

Shipping is your choice of USPS First Class or USPS Priority. We cannot be responsible for packages lost in the mail. Insurance (up to $50) is always available for an additional $2.00 charge.

We endeavor to ship in stock items within 2-3 business days after purchase (although most items ship next business day). We ship Monday through Friday. In stock orders will always be shipped within 5 business days unless otherwise stated. I do not consider Saturday or Sunday to be "business days". Please be aware that holidays often slow the mailing process.

We will do our best to accurately describe and depict products, as well as provide measurements and reveal flaws or wear. Quality is very important to us. We don't sell anything we wouldn't put on our own children.

We make no guarantees on the fit, construction, safety, or reliability of second hand products sold through the Cloth Diaper Exchange. If you have any questions, please email us prior to purchasing. No refunds or returns at this time.

Exchanging Your Cloth Diaper Products

Are you a cloth diapering mama with cloth to spare? Then you've come to the right place! The Diaper Exchange can help you unload your extras for exchange credit or cash! The following is meant to be an overview.

You have two options for selling your diapers on DiaperExchange.com. Option one is Exchange for Store Credit. Option two is Consignment. The options and terms are very different, so please be sure to carefully read and understand both. Email us with any questions.

Option One - Exchange for Store Credit

Overview
With this option, you send us your diapers and we give you store credit to be used at DiaperExchange.com. You don't have to wait for your diapers to sell, you get to use 100% of your agreed upon credit to spend as soon as we receive your items!

We accept cloth diapering products in new or excellent gently used condition. A little pilling, some color fade, subtle signs of wear are fine. However, nobody wants smelly, stained, old and ugly stuff. If you wouldn't put it on your baby and show it off to your friends, then we probably won't take it. Unfortunately, due to sensitivities to cigarette smoke in many families, we cannot take products from smoking households. Please let me know ahead of time if your items come from a home with pets.

Once you accept store credit, you will not be able to "cash it out" later or change to the consignment option.

Ready to participate? To offer your diapers for exchange, the process is as follows:

• Read, understand, and accept our detailed terms and conditions.
• Check out the Credit Chart to learn what type of credit you can expect.
• Email Us with a description of the diaper products you'd like to exchange.
• We'll email you with our offer of credit or we'll politely decline (usually only if you make an offer that doesn't meet the stated guidelines or if we're not currently accepting new shipments)
• If you accept our offer, we'll email you our shipping address and let you know when your items arrive and your credit is ready to spend!

Option Two - Consign Your Diapers

Overview
If you'd rather get cash for your diapers, you may choose to consign your diapers with us. Consigning is a hassle free alternative to auctions. Much less time consuming (no digital pictures to take.. no more multiple trips to the post office!) and risk free.

When you are accepted as a consignor, you set the price of your items! We keep a 30% commission to cover our listing time and fees. You can be paid via PayPal when your account reaches $10.00 or check by mail when your account reaches $25.00 (your choice).

We have detailed information about what items are accepted for consignment on our consignment info page. We have a limited amount of consignment slots open at a time. Please email to see if we have slots available.
