Shopping Cart Is Empty   In Memory of Persephone Price : $0.00 998 available As most of you in our community may know by now, my family and I suffered a tragic loss on June 4th.  We lost our baby Persephone during childbirth.  She was breech, and she died during delivery.  I had lost my mother at a young age, but I have to say that this has been an even more difficult loss.  I suppose it is because it feels like we have lost part of the future, instead of having parted with the past as one does with losing a parent.  Our plans for our little girl have been dashed, and there are still times when I cannot believe that this happened. We are very lucky that we have our beautiful 4-year-old daughter, Artemisia.  This has been difficult for all of our family.  But she has been our hope and joy during this time of grieving and healing. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those who have sent cards, prayers, good thoughts, lovely gifts, support with fundraisers, and for those who have donated to our charity of choice in Persephone's name, Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.  Thank you to my fellow WAHMs who have committed to donating items and/or time to the fundraiser that I am planning for Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep.  NILMDTS is an organization that photographs families and their babies who have died.  It was a comfort to us.  Thank you everyone who participated in the fundraiser for NILMDTS.  It was a great success!
