Welcome to Cars From Papa! Our toymaker, Bill Tansley, has been working with wood for over 40 years. Bill is known as "Papa" to his twelve grandchildren, for whom he has made wooden toys for many years. In addition, he is "papa" to his daughter's first-grade class, and they are very grateful for their constant supply of wooden cars to play with!

When you communicate with Cars From Papa, you will hear from Trista, Bill's youngest daughter and owner of OBB Diapers. Trista takes care of all customer service needs, while Bill focuses on toymaking. Trista decided to suggest starting up Cars From Papa after seeing the consistent joy on her kids' faces when they received more "Cars From Papa" in the mail. Our hope is that your children can experience that same joy!

Bill welcomes custom requests, and enjoys coming up with new designs. All Cars From Papa designs are designed without a pattern - the design is drawn on the wood and then cut. So while we can usually come close to replicating a design, it will never be an exact match to something already sold on CFP. All of Bill's designs are one of a kind!
