"I have had Nancy make several different outfits for me. They have all turned out wonderfully. The best part is that I pulled out my own fabric and patterns from my "project" pile and then gave Nancy instructions on how I wanted the patterns modified. Things like, put this neck on this style but do pleats instead of gathers and use buttons instead of zipper and make the length like this and so on and so on. Nancy simply wrote down everything I said then brought me back the dress I had imagined! What's more, Nancy reinforces her seams and is careful to do it right. She not only makes the clothes I want, but makes QUALITY clothes the way I want. Her alterations are beyond compare, as well. She has done wonders to make pants and skirts fit properly and look like they were made for me - no ugly tucks or pleats. I highly recommend her for any and all sewing you need to have done!

Nancy let my daughter and me choose the pattern, fabrics, and trim we wanted for a special tote bag for carrying toys and books when we travel. The roomy, zippered bag has an insert with pockets, as well as pockets on the outside. Nancy made our requested alterations to the bag and made sure that it was completed for my daughter’s birthday. Nancy made a darling old-fashioned dress with calico fabric for my littlest girl. It is very modest and feminine in style and has held up well in the wash. But the best part of the dress for my daughter was that Nancy was able to make a baby doll diaper bag that matched the dress!
My daughter is like most 9 year olds and loves to dress up and wear hats. She often wears the prairie bonnet that Nancy made. The bonnet has endured many exciting adventures on the prairie and is holding up well. She often receives compliments on the hat. - Mom of six children |
