Hi! I'm Joyce, mother of six amazing children, and creator of Bagshot Row Bamboo diapers.
I started cloth diapering my youngest in 2006, and fell in love with bamboo prefolds. I loved them so much that I began making my own, and added unique embellishments to give them character. In fact, I loved them so much that I opened up my hyena cart store in 2007 in order to make my diapers available to others.
I began making bamboo fitteds in late 2007 and they were a hit! Over the next couple of years Bagshot Row Bamboo grew to be more than I could handle on my own, so I felt it a natural transition to hire additional seamstresses, as well as someone to cut fabrics. Can you believe that we were selling out of 300 stocked diapers within minutes of listing them? I was humbled and amazed by the response to our product.
After almost a year of working with the wonderful ladies who helped keep Bagshot Row Bamboo available in large quantities, I felt that it was becoming more and more difficult to ensure the quality that my product was known for. I had children who were growing in leaps and bounds. They were stepping into seasons in their lives that required more time and attention than I had been able to offer them alongside the swift growth of my business.
At that point, I decided it best to bring Bagshot Row Bamboo back to my own sewing room, which is where I feel that it belongs. I have learned much over my years creating diapers for your little ones. My goal has always been to provide a unique and trendy diaper that will provide the comfort and absorbency that your little ones deserve, and it is my hope that you will fall in love with the same products that I diapered my own little one with.
