My name is Susan Davis and I'm the artist behind Giocare & Amare (/jhio-kah-ray/ and /uh-ma-ray/). I'm a mom and an artist with a full time job. I've been designing and making art my entire life. I finally stumbled upon doll making which for me is the culmination of everything I'm interested in. I love making dolls and I strongly believe in the pedagogy behind the Waldorf doll. Giocare & Amare dolls are Waldorf-inspired and designed specifically for play and love by children and all the child-at-heart doll lovers out there.
