My name is Mary Kate the owner and knitter of PKat Pants. In 2007 I left my job as a middle school science teacher to stay home and raise our three daughters, shortly after PKat Pants opened shop.

I love to knit, something about creating an item from a big ball of yarn is so cathartic for me. At the end of a long day my knitting helps me relax and gives me time to sort the day as my needles click away.
