Hi, and welcome to Burgh Baby Gear! I'm Maggie, mom to Megan and Heidi, and wife to Don :)
I love knitting and sewing, and I look forward to creating special, unique products for your little one!

My grandmother taught me how to knit, crochet, and sew when I was very young, and I've always enjoyed making crafts as a hobby.

Before opening on Hyena Cart, I taught Music and German at an elementary school, and completed my Ph.D. at the University of Pittsburgh. Now I enjoy spending most of my time working from home, both as a Stay-at-home-mom and at my small businesses. I'm also very active in the Pittsburgh Mothers' Center, a local non-profit organization.
As you can see, I always enjoy a new challenge, and am always learning something new!

I love living and working in Pittsburgh.
I've lived in and visited many places, but Pittsburgh will always have a special place in my heart as my hometown.
