About Gillyweeds My name is Shannon, and I'm a stay home mother of six. My youngest was born in 2008. I have been working with children most of my adult life, and have stayed home with my own since 2001. I am happily married, and have been knitting since 2006 and crocheting since forever! I began cloth diapering my oldest child in 1995 with Gerber prefolds and plastic pants. Now, 15 years later, it's fitteds, pfs, flats, pockets and wool! I had no idea you could even make pants out of yarn and now I love my woolies, and so does my toddler. I love to make all kinds of things, with crocheting being my passion. I recently began dyeing my yarn, as well. A little sewing and scrapbooking round out my free time. Any given day, you'll find me dyeing, knitting, crocheting, all while drooling over Random Spots!
