I purchased Hedgie for my husband from a giant toy store in London as a stand-in for the live hedgehog he wanted for a pet (Cats + Small rodenty type animal = disaster!) and the adventures of Hedgie began! Any trip we take, Hedgie comes along packed up with our socks and underwear and is the subject of endless photoshoots. When I studied in Spain, my husband sent Hedgie to me in a care package. I can't wait for my son to be old enough to take part in our Hedgie-traveling adventures!

I am Amy. I've been knitting since teaching myself the basic stitches in college, but I have always had a love for crafting. I receive gift-cards to Michael's, Joann's, and Hobby Lobby and about jump up and down with excitement as I can get into some real financial trouble entering those stores with a credit card. I also enjoy painting, multimedia work, glass etching, photography, embroidery and other needle-point. I have fairly recently taught myself to crochet and would really love the opportunity to try stained-glass work and yarn dyeing.

I am Mommy to 1 little man and married to a slightly bigger man. I am a stay at home mom most days, but also have a part-time job a few hours a week for additional adult interaction! I am a self-professed yarnaholic, but hope to recover soon.
