I'm always trying new shapes and sizes for my I-Spy Chalkmats, so this is a new one. Since I'm still trying to work out label placement, I thought I would offer the two I've been working on at a discounted rate, since they aren't quite up to my standards. These are just as durable and well-made as my other boards, the only issue is that the tags and snaps are a bit off center.

These portable chalkmats are always a hit, and the I-Spy panel is what sets mine apart from others. Not only does your child get a surface for writing / drawing, but the flip side offers another form of entertainment. It is also a greener, more reusable option than going through several sheets of paper.

Chalkmats are made with a square of chalk cloth, an I-Spy panel, and denim border. All seams are serged and top-stitched for durability. Features a pocket and elastic to hold the chalk, a snap for the wipe, and two elastic loops to secure it with when rolled up. Fits easily in a purse or diaper bag.

Measures 8.5" x 8.5". Chalk and snap-on wipe are included.

This size is perfect for a stocking stuffer! There are two different chalkmats pictured in this listing, choose which one you would like, or take both!

2) Veggies, owls, bright colors doggies.

One of my favorite Christmas traditions is the one my father remembers with the most fondness. His grandmother, and then his mother, would always bake a chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream frosting to eat on Christmas morning along with ham. For generations my father's side of the family has enjoyed this tradition, and I've kept it alive, always making sure to bring the treasured cake whenever we visit for Christmas. My boys have learned to look forward to having cake for breakfast after they've opened their presents and I look forward to passing this tradition down to them, or their wives, in the future. I can just see my grandmother serving a big slice of cake and ham to a younger version of my dad - his eyes wide with excitement and anticipation, just like my own boys. It makes me feel connected to her, as I miss her dearly.
