My daughter recently asked me to knit her some socks.  Not just any socks, but “knee high twirly socks in pink and green”.  So, this new pattern was born.

I decided to make this into a toe-up pattern, with a reverse gusset heel and a hemmed cuff.  If you don’t care for the toe and heel options I have here, please feel free to substitute your favorite toe and heel style into the pattern.

Materials Needed

1 skein (475 yards) Fingering yarn (or other suitable sock yarn)

1 set US #2/2.75mm double-point needles

Gauge

32 sts and 44 rows = 4 inches [10cm] in stockinette

Foot Circumference: 8 ½ inches
