What is a playsilk?
Playsilks
are Waldorf-inspired toys that promote open-ended imaginative play.
Playsilks are fun for children of all ages, from peek-a-boo through
pirates. They are fantastic for dress up play, serving as everything
from a skirt to a cape to a bandanna. From doll slings to forts to
theater curtains, children find an amazing number of uses for these
versatile silks.
These items have been hand-dyed and washed however we recommend you wash each item separately prior to use. The flow of the dye and the lay of the fabric make each silk one of a
kind, so the silk you receive may be slightly different than the one
pictured.
