Waldorf Doll "Madeline"

Madeline is a WoolCreations waldorf inspired Waldorf doll. She is 15.5" tall. Her "skin" is high quality 100% cotton knit and she is filled with 100% wool batting and love. Waldorf dolls in general have a very simple facial impression to encourage the child's imaginary play. Little Miss Madeline features emboidered sky blue eyes, rosy red lips and a hue of "blush" on her cheeks decorated with small little freckles. She is wearing a pair of hand dyed organic cotton/bamboo velour yoga pants, a knitted dress/sweater inspired by the Ridinghood Babydoll sweater by Greenstrings/Sugarbubbie and a matching wool felt hat. Her hair is embroidered and long strands are waiting to be put in different hair styles. The hair can be brushed with fingers or wide toothed comb.

High quality materials, time and love goes into every one of my dolls to ensure heirloom quality. It takes around 25 hours to finish a doll and sometimes even longer. When I create a doll I "listen" to how she wants to look. Every face shape is different and I try to create a wholsome and balanced look for every doll. Just like real people each doll has a temperament and I try to "find" it while I work.
