The Enchanted Nursery is a small work at home mom owned business that
was started back in 2002. Most of my customers are in the UK, Canada,
and Australia, though many are in the US. I am happy to ship anywhere
in the world.
This business is a family sustaining business,
meaning that we rely on my business as a source of income. By
purchasing from us, you are supporting a small business, my family, and
my passion.
As the owner of the business, I have set up a studio in my smoke-free
home where I hand-make all products sold here while caring for
my
children. My children love to be a part of my business and
help
pick out fabrics, give ideas on hand painting items, and choosing
colors.
About our family
We reside in North Texas with our two children and our Basset Hound named Attie. Our oldest, Christopher, is 15 and loves computers and art. He is in high school and aspires to work in the computer industry. He has taken engineering and computer classes at a college level and maintained A's in those classes (we are very proud of how much he has learned).
Our youngest, Emily, is 6 and loves fairies, science and the outdoors. She aspires to be a scientist and shows great talent in science and math. She is currently homeschooled and doing very well, progressing past the kindergarten curriculum within two months and moving on to the first grade curriculum, which she is progressing through quickly (half way done).
Tony works in the computer industry and is able to work from home a few days per week. He enjoys fishing, designing and building small boats from scratch, and vegetable gardening. (for the record, he hates shopping)
Teri (that's me!) maintains the business. She enjoys teaching Emily, drinking good coffee, talking with friends, shopping (especially online for handmade items), and creating. When it isn't too hot out, she enjoys gardening, walking along the lake, going to the beach, and taking walks through the woods.
