TbT (Takara Baby Thermal) Blanket in a "Girly Prism Rainbow"

although brief, has brought a few changes to Takara Baby, including a new
blanket to the line-up – my TbT (Takara Baby Thermal)! While I love my velour blankets (and they’re
still my staple) and I have even more love for my Bliss Blankets, I’ve found
that there is a distinct time of year when OBV is a little heavy, and muslin
isn’t nearly heavy enough. In those
inbetween times (Spring and Fall, I’m talkin’ about you!), the TbT fits the
bill with a stretchy waffled fabric that wicks away moisture and is light
enough to feel like your favorite thermal tee, but still has the weighty, silky
drape of bamboo. For every season, there’s
a blanket to snuggle under and I hope the TbT becomes your next Takara Baby
favorite!
This TbT blanket is made from bamboo and organic cotton and
has been low water immersion dyed in a prism of girly rainbow colors (pink, orange,
yellow, green, blue, purple). This
blanket is turned and topstitched for durability and measures approximately 30”
x 36” – big enough to use as a playmat, a sunshade, a swaddler, or as its
original purpose for some snuggly softness.
All Takara Baby products have been hand dyed using
professional Procion dyes that create a permanent bond between the fabric and
the dye. This means no bleeding and no
fading color, even years later. Of course,
I highly recommend giving a separate (or with like colors) initial wash and dry
for any hand dyed product to make sure all residual dye is removed. I also recommend washing on cold and drying
on low to preserve the feel of the fabric, but all Takara Baby blankets can be
washed on hot or warm if the occasion calls for it (and we all know with little
ones, those occasions happen more than we’d like!).
