| I am Jennifer, the knitting, dyeing and sewing mama to Nora, the inspiration behind Nora's Knits. I have been knitting and sewing for several years and have finally listened to everyone who have told me that I need my own shop! I am an urban planner by profession and a recent change in my employment status means that I have more time to devote to my family and my crafts.
My primary focus is hand-dyed yarn and handknit diapering wool, though from time to time I will offer coordinating sets and other hand-made items. Soakers, shorties, skirties and longies are knit using my original pattern that features a special stitch pattern in the wetzone that adds thickness without bulk. Longies and shorties have a unique gusset that incorporates this stitch pattern. All items are crafted in my home, which is smoke-free and pet friendly. Payment
I accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express credit cards and eCheck payments through PayPal. Orders will be processed after payment has cleared. PAYMENT MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 4 HOURS OF PURCHASE, OTHERWISE, THE ITEM WILL BE RELISTED.
Shipping
First Class and Priority Shipping is available. Canadian orders please select First Class shipping. If you require an alternate means of shipping (Fed Ex, UPS, etc.) or if you live in Northeast Florida and would like local pick-up, contact me at hewettapperson@yahoo.com to make arrangements.
All instock orders are shipped within 72 hours. Please allow 2 weeks for shipping of custom orders. I will keep you updated on the status of all custom orders and will contact you if there is a delay. Delivery Confirmation is included for all US orders. Insurance is highly recommended as Nora's Knits is not responsible for lost or damaged packages.

My products are guaranteed against defects in workmanship for 30 days after shipping. If you need to return something that is defective, please contact me first via e-mail. Seconds are sold AS IS and carry no guarantee. Please note that all items are handmade by me in my home. Therefore, there may be slight variations in the product that could be seen as imperfections. These variations will not affect product performance and are a hallmark of handcrafted products.
