1. Why use handcrafted soap?
Have you ever wondered why many commercial soaps are named beauty bars? These are actually deodorant bars, not real soap. Per FDA regulations they do not meet the requirements to earn the name 'Soap'.
A big difference between handcrafted soap and commercial soap is Glycerin, a humectant, meaning it attracts and holds moisture to your skin. Most commercial manufacturers remove the glycerin for use in their more profitable lotions and creams.
Most commercial soaps contain animal fats to keep production costs low. But handcrafted soaps, like mine, are made with all natural oils, derived from vegetables, plants and seeds/nuts. These oils are much more nourishing for your skin and animal safe!
After the use of cheap animal fats, and removing all the glycerin, commercial soaps need to fill in the gaps with chemicals. So, they add cleansers, detergents, stabilizers, and other harsh additives. These are the same ingrediants used on dishes and clothes. These chemicals and the lack of glycerin mean that the soap often irritates, drys, and wrinkles people's skin or causes allergic reactions.
All of my soaps are hypo-allergenic and extra moisturizing. Commercial soaps can be drying and irritating to your skin. When you use real soap your skin feels 'squeaky clean' in the shower. This is the glycerin on your skin. When you dry off you'll notice how much softer your skin feels.

2. What kind of soap do you make?
*My soaps are made using several different methods.
- Glycerin Soap Casting: All natural vegetable soap bases. I've taken great care in choosing high quality soap bases and formulating them to the wonderful finished product you will receive.
- Cold Process: Made with saponified oils of coconut, palm, olive, apricot kernel, sweet almond and castor bean. Cocoa and Mango butters are added for extra moisture.
- Cold Process Oven Process: This is nearly the same as cold process, except the soap goes into the oven to speed up saponification and evaporation. This allows the cp soap to be ready to use in half the time.
3. Can I get a custom scent?
Yes, as long as I can find the scent from one of my suppliers. For an additional $3 I can custom scent any size order. I place orders on Mondays, so it may take up to 2 weeks for me to ship your custom scented order.
4. Can you gift wrap my order and send it to someone for me?
Yes, for an additional $3 I will gift wrap your order and include a personalized card.
5. Are all of your items 100% natural?
No, I use natural ingredients for many of my items, but not all. For the safety of my customers, my water based products contain a paraben free preservative. Please be cautious of water based products claiming to be all natural. Unpreserved water based products will grow harmful bacteria, mold, yeast and fungi. If used, a contaminated product could cause severe health problems, blindness and even death. This is why preservatives are so very important.
All of my products have a shelf life of atleast 1 year. Once opened, body butters will last up to 3 months. Please use clean hands when applying body butter.
6. Do you offer wahm samples?
Yes, I offer soap and body butter samples. Samples are individually packaged in plastic bags with a Naturally Pampered business card and labelled with the scent, if applicable. The price varies. Please contact me for a quote.
7. What are phthalates?
Phthalates are esters of phthalic acid and are mainly used as plasticizers (substances added to plastics to increase their flexibility and transparancy). Phthalates are being phased out of many products in the United States and European Union over health concerns.
*All of my products are phthalate free.
