This stunning yarn began life as one of my own smooth and sparkling batts, by the same name. I spun it to a reasonably fine singles, with the intention of thread-plying it, but the yarn wanted nothing to do with that plan. when I began plying, the yarn cried out that it wanted to be MORE! And so it became, a luscious yarn, threadplied with spirals and beehives and coils all amix in it. I don't know what the name of all the fun textural parts are, but I know I love it.

Blue with streaks of black, this yarn fits its name, as it will only become what it chooses to be. will you take the challenge to create with it? or let me create for you. I can weave this yarn up into a scarf with a warp of black sock yarn, creating a stunningly visual and textural peice you will wear for years. (the additional price of weaving is $30, and will include the cost of 1 50gm skein of black sock yarn)

The yarn is made up of Merino wool, Firestar, Angelina, and plied with strong black gutterman thread.

There are 180 yds in the skein weighing 3oz, and it is approx. a dk weight yarn, at 960YPP.

The color is best shown in the last picture, but as in many cases, the sparkle does not show well in any.
