The Slacker Hat from KimberlyR:
Slouchy hats are the must-have accessory this autumn and winter. This lacy chevron pattern is easy to memorize and provides plenty of visual interest to showcase your favorite skein of yarn. In no time at all, you'll have a completed hat ready to wear or gift.
You will want to use a yarn that has a lovely drape and stitch definition. I particularly enjoyed knitting one with a merino wool and silk blend yarn.
The pattern is written for two sizes: Small (Infant to Toddler) and Large (Adult)
Skill Level: Easy/Moderate
Materials Needed:
Worsted Weight Yarn 2 oz./125 yards (Small) 3 oz./180 yards (Large)
US Size 6 12"(16") circular needle (OR DPNs if preferred)
US Size 8 12"(16") circular needle (OR DPNS if preferred)
US Size 8 DPNs
Tapestry needle
1 stitch marker
