Shoe Info

• Hot Dot Shoes originated with Green Dot Shoes.  About a year ago I purchased Green Dot Shoes from Sarah, and only hope I can uphold her reputation as a provider of high quality shoes and great customer service.
• My shoes come in sizes from newborn to a ladies 10/11.  While my primary focus is on utilizing previously used fibers and materials, I do also construct shoes from new fabrics and leathers.
• My recycled fibers have been washed on hot in hypo-allergenic detergent to ensure cleanliness, sometimes many times in order to felt!  New fabrics will have been washed as well to ensure shrinkage happens before shoe construction.
• I do offer custom shoes from time to time.  My ability to offer custom work varies greatly due to the needs of my family.  Custom shoes may take up to two weeks upon fabric/design choices to construct, but I pride myself on prompt communication and keeping my customers informed on my progress.
• I cannot maintain a gallery of available wools that stay current, it depends what is available to me.  I am always willing to search for something specific given the time.
• I hand draw my appliques, so if you have an idea for one, let me know.
• Embroideries are available for an additional charge.  I have a membership at EmbroideryDK so if you are interested in embroidery please peruse their gallery.  I also have vintage animals, retro animals, monsters, and these ladybugs.
• I love adding decorative stitching to my shoes.  Below are the stitches available.  Please note that the the maxi stitches and monograms are only suitable for use on the top of the shoe, centered.
