'Silly Old Bear'

My dad would read to me and my siblings every night that he could when we were growing up. One of my favorite books was about a bear named Winnie the Pooh. This was inspired by that and by a blanket made for my son when he was a baby, featuring the 'silly old bear'.

Dyeing will take place the week of August 5th-12th. This will be custom dyed for you, so please allow 4 weeks after that for drying, packaging, and shipping to take place. Red trim will be available in 4 oz. skeins in a separate listing.

The following bases will be available for this pre-order:

Canadian BFL DK: Same wool as above, in a light worsted/DK weight. Approximately 250 yards per 125 grams

Mountain Meadow worsted: Merino/Rambouillet
Perfect soaker yarn for toddlers! So soft, yet so durable! This yarn goes on forever, don't let the yardage full you.
approx 100grams per 140 yards as per manufacture.

Gaia Oganic Merino Bulky- 100% Organic Merino wool.
This is a super soft, round, and beautiful merino. If you're looking for a quick and satisfying yarn to knit with, this would be for you.
Approx 112grams at 154 yards per skein

Gaia Organic Merino Worsted- 100% Organic Merino wool
This is a fantastic merino with a great drape! Although it is labeled a worsted, many knitters consider it to be more of a DK. Either way, it's beautiful, and one of my favs! Great for garment knitting.

Licorice Twist Merino- 100% Merino wool
This yarn is very similar to the Gaia worsted above, although one of the 3 strands to make up this 3 strand yarn is a superwash, making the yarn take dye more deeply. The result is a unique licorice effect, that adds just a little something special!
