I want to share
with you my idea… and why I think this is such a great
pattern. As a knitter, I got tired of having five different patterns
that all basically start in the place: the waistband. And I got tired of
having to do five different gauge swatches and learn five different
ways of knitting these items. So I started figuring out my own basic
pattern, based around the waistband. It was surprisingly easy after that. Adding cables, skirties, ruffles, soakers, bloomers… it’s just “icing”
on that same basic formula.
The EviePants AIO includes
instructions not just for your basic pair of longies, but for making
shorties, capris, bloomers, soakers, and skirties! It doesn't end
there. If you want to add a cable down the leg of your longies,
instructions are included! Or maybe you'd like to add a skirt to a pair
of longies or bloomers. And lets not forget endless cuff and ruffle options! Seed stitch is classic, but if you'd like to expand beyond
