About Me
I first thought about cloth diapering long before I became pregnant with my son when a good friend of mine decided to cloth diaper. She filled my head with pictures of babies in cute diapers that were better for the baby and the environment. I set the thought aside until I became pregnant with my son, Baxter. After reading more about diapering, my husband and I decided to cloth diaper. With that I began building my stash.
When my son was a few months old I had a hard time finding a diaper that I loved on him. I wanted the perfect diaper. My mom did professional wedding dress alterations out of our home when I was growing up, so I've had a sewing machine as long as I can remember. Whatever the perfect diaper was, I knew I could make it. One day when folding socks, I had an idea. From there, Dilley Dally Diapers were born. I spent months testing and developing my idea into what it has become today.
I recently graduated college, and I'm now a WAHM. I spent years getting my degree, and then rediscovered my childhood creativity and love of sewing. Luckily my super supportive husband of 7 years, Jason, encourages me to stay home and sew. My son Baxter is 8 months old and refuses to take a bottle, so I don't have much choice anyway! I love fitted diapers, wool, and photography.
