Return Policy:
Returns are only accepted within 10 days of purchase on unwashed and unworn items. No returns are allowed on customs, seconds, sale or clearance items. Return shipping to me is responsibility of purchaser unless I made a sizing/fabric/sewing mistake or item is in need of repair prior to washing.
Instock items: Full price, minus shipping will be reimbursed.
Custom items: As of 6/24 I am not accepting returns on custom orders.
Fix-it Policy:
We offer a 90 day guarantee on elastic and snaps on each of our diapers.
Return shipping is responsibility of owner and I will pay for shipping back to you. Repaired diapers will feature non-hidden snaps and/or repair holes, depending on the issue.
After 90 days I will repair the item for a small fee (my time & materials) and cost return shipping as well.
Normal wear is not considered a manufacturing defect and will not be considered for repairs.
Offers only apply to the original owner of our products. Offer is void if the diaper has been altered or laundered incorrectly. Please view our care guide for more information.
Custom Orders:
Please allow 2-3 weeks for small custom orders. For larger custom orders, please allow 3-4 weeks. More than likely your items will be out within the first couple weeks but the extra time is for emergencies, sick kids, etc... If at any time you wish to know the status of your custom order please email me or view the customs page.
Custom deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, no exceptions.
Drop Ship items:
Royal Ribbits Heiny Wash and Knickernappies products are ordered directly from the manufacturer. They will be shipped directly to you by the manufacturer. I am not responsible for shipping delays on drop shipped items. Please note that each batch of the Heiny Wash is made fresh and may take additional production time.
~ Payment Policies & Information ~
Payment Policy:
Regular items: Payment is due within 6 hours of placing your order.
Auctions/Lotteries: Payment is due within 24 hours of lottery/auction end.
FREE & FFS Lotteries: Must be claimed with 72 hours of lottery end or item will be forefitted & redrawn.
After this time, items will be restocked without notice. If no contact is made within the specified time frame, you will be flagged as a non-payer, added to my blacklist and reported to Hyenacart administrators for account suspension review.
PayPal:
Due to increasing fraud scams among the Hyenacart WAHM community, we will no longer be accepting orders from unverified addresses.
We accept both funded and credit PayPal. Please note that e-check purchases will not be started/shipped until funding is cleared.
Other Payments:
We accept other forms of payment such as RME and MO, please email me for more information. Your products will not ship until the MO is received & cleared.

Shipping Information:
Instock orders will be shipped within 48 hours (excluding weekends and holidays). Please allow up to 3-4 weeks for custom orders.
All items are shipped via USPS which includes delivery confirmation. You will receive a delivery confirmation e-mail through PayPal that includes a tracking link. Insurance is highly recommended for all orders. Please note I am not responsible for your package once it leaves my hands.
Shipping Fees:
I try and charge as close to actual shipping as possible. I will automatically refund any extra shipping over $1.50.
Domestic: Fitteds: $3.00, Pockets: $2.50, Wipes: $2.00; Additional $1.50
Combined Shipping:
I will honor any combined shipping request, as long as they fall under these guidelines:
Instock goods - Request is made within 24 hours of first purchase AND your order's ship invoice hasn't already been printed.
Custom goods - Request is made within 48 hours of first purchase AND your order's ship invoice hasn't already been printed. Also, any large order of 4 diapers or more cannot be combined due to time restrictions *please see below*.
Due to PayPal shipping policies, I am required to mail all orders within 7 days. Therefore custom orders that are made more then 48 hours apart cannot be combined.
Insurance:
I highly suggest purchasing insurance on orders as I am not responsible for lost/stolen items once they leave my hands.
Shipping Address:
I will only ship to the address that is listed on the PayPal receipt, no exceptions! If you are purchasing as a gift, please add their address to your account prior to purchasing.
International Shipping:
As of October 1st, 2008 Butterfly Baby is no longer offering international shipping. We apologize for any inconvience this may cause.

~ Product Care 101 ~
General wash/dry routine:
Dump or spray off any stool into the toilet (except BM poop). Add your diapers (up to a dozen) into the washing machine on the highest water setting. First, do a cold rinse and then, a hot wash with only half a scoop of detergent. Finally, do cold rinses until no more bubbles remain.
Line drying is your best option (its free and doesn't use any resources!). Sunning your diapers can reduce any odors as well as bleach out any stains. For very stubborn stains rub a little lemon juice and water and expose to direct sunlight.
When using an automatic dryer, use medium heat to avoid damaging snaps and elastic. The use of dryer balls can speed up drying time and keep your diapers super soft and fluffy. I highly recommend using wool balls, as plastic ones can contain toxic elements.
**Do Not Use bleach (weakens the fiber, elastic and can cause smell issues)
**Do Not Use Oxygen products (can cause problems with the elastic).
Do Not Use natural/free and clear detergents (can cause buildup residue).
Do Not Use fabric softeners or dryer sheets (can lessen absorbency and cause repelling).

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why Fattycakes?
A: I really love this pattern! I have tried many diapers and this is the only diaper that fits a large range of children. It gives a fuller coverage (definitely not a thong!), but still retains moderate trimness.
Q: Should I wash my diaper before using it?
A: Absolutely! Please wash your diaper at least once before using. I highly advise washing them separately as some colors may bleed.
Q: Why are there purple/blue marks on my diaper?
A: On occassion you may receive a diaper with purple or blue marks. But do not worry, they are not permanent and do wash out! I use a variety of special fabric pens to mark elastics and snap placement. These are designed to fade with time, but on occassion you may receive your diaper freshly made and these marks may still be present as airflow is restricted in its packaging.
Q: What size should I chose?
A: I definitely recommend basing size by your child's rise. Since Fattycakes come with multiple snap settings, waist and thigh settings can be adjusted to best fit your child. If your child is on the end range of the size chart and you order doublers I recommend sizing up.
Q: Fattycakes: Can I have front snaps instead? Can you leave off the front elastic?
A: As a licensee, I cannot change certain aspects of the diaper's construction such as, front snapping and leaving off elastic. This is to ensure a consistent sizing among all licensees.
Q: Why doesn't my tracking information update?
A: Usually tracking information is not updated when the postage is purchased online. It's one of the ways the post office is able to offer lower cost shipping online, versus through the post office. So in most cases it won't update until it's been delivered.
