All you need to work with these dyes is water, household white vinegar, and your own dyeing tools and safety equipment.
Each container contains 1/2 ounce of dye powder (the smallest size pictured - plenty to dye many hanks of yarn. This little bit of dye powder goes a long way! I've been dyeing colorways as a WAHM for two years using the .5 ounce containers for almost all of my colors, and have only had to purchase a second container of a few colors recently.
