WHO AM I?
Hello, my name is Jessica. I am a stay-at-home nursing mother of two. I have a 3 year old boy and a 5 month old girl. I am married to the man of my dreams. I have been sewing for 16 years and knitting and crocheting for 9. I love to sew and create things with my hands.
WHY DO I SEW/SELL NURSING COVERS?
When my daughter was born I had a really hard time nursing in public. I felt self conscious and I just couldn't get the hang of it without exposing myself to everyone around me. I decided I needed something to help me out. I saw this type of nursing cover that another mom had. After inspecting it, I immediately went home and made myself one. It worked, but it could be better. As I've used these covers I have improved the design to where it is today. I love mine and use it often.
I in no way believe that women should or need to cover up while nursing, but for those of us who are a little bit shyer than others, these are great, especially for those first few weeks/months when you're getting the hang of nursing. I do this because I love to sew, and I want to help all those moms out there who feel insecure about nursing in public.
WHY HYENA CART?
I am new here to the Hyena Cart community. I have been selling these covers on Ebay for about 4 months. I find I am spending too much on fees on Ebay to make this worth my while. I like the WAHM friendliness of Hyena Cart.
