My pads have a breathable water resistant liner made of fleece, which is not part of the actual pad, this liner snaps around your panties and a soaker pad snaps on top.
When the soaker is soiled, simply snap it off and snap on a fresh one (keeping the liner still snapped around your panties). I found this to be the most sensible and cost effective way to go. I have designed the liner to be bigger than the soaker pad so there are no leaks over the side. The water-resistant fleece liner is very thin which makes for a trim and comfortable fit.
Unlike micro-fleece, our fleece is water-resistant. Our water-resistant fleece has a tight-knit construction, keeping liquids from passing through, yet at the same time is highly breathable.
